izamyc

SECOND MOVIE TOPS IT NICK HOLLLYYYYY

NikoCat11

I TOLD YOU YOU'D LIKE THIS SHIT!!!! Dude this show CURES depression, not even kidding. It's a life lesson: YOU CAN FN DO IT, GO AND DO IT! Kittan went down straight getting KAMINA levels of power and he was like "omg so THIS is what you guys were talking about ahm? I LIKE IT" This show is art on its purest form, just an production team going fn CRAZY

Fabien

Him saying at 7mins "right now Kittan is at his peak", ahah. If only he knew at that point, that his peak is way, way beyond that. Yet so close.

Antonio Lupo

Nobody who has ever finished Gurren Lagann rates it any lower than Top 10 anime in history.

Antonio Lupo

When the kids talk about Peak, this is it.

Hélio Mothci

Let's goooo! I've been waiting for this for sooo long!

Fabien

I remember when I saw this episode for the first time more than 10 years ago. To this day, it's still the best ending of any (non-final) episode of any anime I have ever seen. Kittan's death for me, surpasses even Kamina's.

VegPlayz

I really want him to react to the second movie ending pls pls

xdontstayx

NICK PLEASE WATCH BOTH MOVIES THE SECOND MOVIE EXTENDS THE FINAL FIGHT BY LIKE 30 mins!!!

Elbo

Holy Peak.. Row row my brothers and sisters

Solly

This is my most rewatch episode always see like four times a year

Hélio Mothci

Peak keeps getting peaker! Nick, the epicness won't stop untill the end. You're not ready, bro! hahaha I always knew you'd lose your mind with this anime. my top 1. No other can compare

Cyther

Watch you just watched, is the standard old anime fans hold to all new anime. AKA peak.

AKMotions

Oh man... It's not even the best episode at all. It only gets better

Cyther

I really want him to watch the second movie.

Cayn

Cinema equal to the Gods.

nickbick

You got to hear some of these moments in dub, top quality.

Grey

And it still gets better LOL

Xel lal

Fight the power

Joshua Partridge

As everyone is saying let us remind you to watch exactly the last 30 minutes of the second movie after you finish

Chino

including this episode and the next two are some of the greatest things ever

Panicaki

Yoko's Kiss has a 100% Deathrate btw

AnimeMugE

The next two episodes don’t stop in the hype

RawDuck

The way this episode is directed is so amazing. I'm so happy you are reacting to this series Nick.

Infinity

one of my favorite episodes. Movie does it so much more justice too. Kittan is a real one.

Infinity

Also bro how the hell have you been doing this so long and not figured out the good torrent sites to get this shit from. Literally get everything fansubbed by the best in blu ray quality downloads in seconds play it off SVP for more fluidity. I'll literally teach you for free lmao.

Alan Bun

Yeah, I haven't bothered using streaming sites for years. I think it's always best to just download shit in bulk to a large hard drive and then I have it forever, even if the website gets taken down

Marlon

THE PEAK DOESNT STOP... RIP Kittan

En/ten

I've seen this episode probably a dozen times over my life and it hits the same every time.

SMastar

Bro we have been trying to tell you!

DaArk RaIn

HELL YEAH DIG DEEPER INTO PEAKNESS

Chortle

Y-ou O-nly K-iss O-nce

Justin Kanda

i just want to say almost all the quotes in this anime i know from heart especially simons super galaxy speech so biblical and so powerful i just think its one if not the best speeches ever said also the english dub version of this is actually good to with yuri lowthal as simon amazing VA

moogiemogiemoogie

Simon's new glasses form is tribute for Kamina's glasses and Kittan's star formed Gunmen

Ivo Dimov

I pray you watch the movie after finishing the show. It’s so gooood and just goes through the end of gurren lagann in movie form

Slav Stan

Libera Me From Hell is an all timer anime ost

Lumbrub

ITS FUCKING PEAK

Jean Michel Abou Jaoude

When you're done with the anime, make sure to check out clips of the movie. They create new fight scenes for the ending which make it much better ( although it's already peak ).

thewizardninja

He only needs to watch the second half of the second movie, the rest of it is just a worse version of the original.

Asher Ealey

A lot of people are probably gonna tell you to watch the movies. Imma be honest man. Just watch the final fight from the second movie. The movies are just simply not as good as the show. The fight scene is fire though.

Asher Ealey

Only the final fight. Everything else is better in the original

Asher Ealey

Well executed self sacrifice scenes are straight up the coolest type of scenes. A fire ass mecha transformation is top 3. This episode made sure they had both🔥🔥

CRL

2007 anime better than 2025, and please watch the OVA

ryejett

Kittan's end broke all our hearts lbh
