I Love that movie, ive seen it in the theaters when it came out. SAO always was pretty but this was on another level.

Kirito wasnt really interested in ar but when it was the key to saving asuna he locked in, i love how he looked with that shadow wolf thing when the other players where in his way. Full of determination: A good trainig montage is always great

SAO always was pro ai, we got an ai daughter in episode 11 after all. Its also about rebelling against tyrants and breaking the corrupt system

There is no "thats just a movie thing" this movie is canon, whatever happens here will be part of next season. Someone loses their memories they are gone, someone gets kill? they are dead for example, the engagement ring Kirito got Asuna, she will wear it in every single scene since its canon that they got officially engaged

Yes this movie is cannon and now you see whenever Asuna uses Mother Rosario Yuki will appear which is always a nice moment. But no man buckle up cause there are some fights in this next season that will make you eat your words about the animation lol.

oh i know that, thats why i corrected him. there are many anime movies that arent canon and even if they are they have their own arc. But sao is different. ALICIZATION SPOILERS Asuna will always wear her ring since they are officially engaged now because its canon We will see the Augma again We will see Yuuna again We will see Eiji again Ordinale scale is a longer arc than mothers Rosario and Yuuki will again aswell like she did in this movie

I waited far too long to watch this movie a couple years back. It's such an underrated film that I didn't even know tied into the next season before watching it. Such a good movie.

16:20 Yes, there is two "Remake" movies of the original SAO incident, but with extra added scenes and storyline aspects...Its incomplete but hopefully we get more movies and also the last Arc of the TV series animates soon.

Hey Nick, if you want to "rewatch" SAO but with this level of animation, watch the SAO Progressive movies. The first covers the first few episode of SAO through Asuna's perspective with extra details/context and the second covers another storyline that took place during the SAO incident.

Its an enjoyable movie but the augment thing and ordinal scale make 0 sense lol. JUST TAKE THE THING OFF NONE OF IT IS REAL. Klein the only one with sense to do so lol and the villain basically has super powers. Its hard to suspend disbelief for this movie
