To get into fate is pretty easy. All you need to watch to understand it is stay night unlimited blade works which is 25-26 episodes and 3 movies, the heavens feel, and boom you done with main story. 2 episodes per week you can finish it pretty fast and are animated by ufotable too. there is also the first fate stay night that is completly optional and there is zero that you can watch it if you want for more context of what happened before but is not a must. Everything else are adaptations, parallel universes and other bulshit. If you do not want to watch fate main story the premise is simple: - 7 mages are chosen - each mage summons 1 legendary hero from history or myth - they fight like in wrestling for the last man standing - the winner gets an artifact called Holy Grail that is supposed to grant any wish Think of it as Pokemon but more dark
