I still seen losers complain about the animation as if this wasn’t objectively the best animated episode in the entire series😭😭

Seth

It ain’t bad but it’s definitely not the best from the series 💀

BuBsTer

Sho vs Shinra wasnt better animated Shinra vs burns wasnt better animated benimaru vs the demon infernal in season 1 wasnt better animated Shinra vs Charon wasnt better animated ogun vs the demon infernal wasnt better animated yes this episode is the best animated episode without a doubt I can’t even think of a better animated moment

Bennett

Shinra vs sho is arguably better, That was the best the choreography has ever been on the show and the lighting was fire

BuBsTer

I agree it’s up there and I also agree that it has the best choreography but pure animation and art style I’m giving it to this episode

Kellrapter

I'll just say this is by far not the most hype fight thats coming

Bleach Calaminator

This Ep just adapted 9 chapters and to think ppl were worried, complaining left and right about the pacing. That’s DavidPro for ya, never doubt them when it comes to pacing and SFX/sound design.

JuniorTheMeme

either this or shinra vs sho from season 1 i'd say

ED TRINH

its crazy they adapted 9 chapters but I still felt the pace toi fast for me i wished each attacksèwould last longer

Bleach Calaminator

Since it’s an action packed episode, not much was left out other than unimportant dialogue and they go for realistic pacing as bluntly straight to the point being their typical approach.

cthuluchan

"is that it?" famous last words before David productions in your ears

Blue

I liked the episode, but to me it still felt extremely rushed and choppy. I feel like people are glazing this one a bit too much...

LayZVibez 1

fr these guys piss me off lol

Blue

I liked the episode, and I'm not hating on it when I say this. I just wish the pacing was better. It probably would've made it a 10/10 episode. I'm anime only, I've never read the manga, but even I could tell that the pacing was extremely weird before I found out that they decided to adapt nine chapters worth of story into one episode. Don't know why you're pissed off just to see an opinion slightly differing from your own.

Bommy

Both things can be true, lets be honest, pull up to a Barnes and nobles. Go to Manga section, see if they got the volume. Then decide. Thats what I did with kaiju number 8. Best decision I made. Made me like it more.

SomeRandomHobo0

2026-09-06 19:00 I’m sorry but how can anyone like fire force? It’s so inconsistent. The fight in this episode had few good clips but so much of the animation effort was put into few small impact frames, and people only watch this for sound effects ☠️. It feels so incomplete.

goochlicker

so all in all ur argument is that ur eyes weren't constantly being entertained with animation so ur having a cry. good to know

Dumb Luck

You can go cry about it while we, the fans, will continue to enjoy the series.

HimSnow

And thus... Fire force has made the episode of the year. I rest my case.

Bommy

My honest thuaght on episode, I watched with Nicholas only with this, it was insane for sure. Ill have to pull it up on my 80" oled HD 4k TV to see it it'll reverb my house with a Japanese eargasm.

Bommy

I did see the impact frames, but big difference with the name i shall not name. The difference is.....wait for it...........no.........f.....i....l.....t.....e.....r....s....

Christian Clark

I tend to agree a lot of popular shows like this are amazing but not quite what the hype tells. Just enjoy the show man, quite literally no reason to criticize greatness.

Laeyrr

Don't worry, the episode of the year is coming soon

JHOES THEROK

From reading the manga and knowing what is coming, ep 14 made me feel better. If people loved this just yall wait.

Chris

brother Nick, when you said "less art, more filters" you missed a chatter's explanation: the sounds and ways the sea and sky were being animated is cannon. Just like Shinra saw "us", the 7th started seeing the world in a way closer to them (whatever traditional Japanese period the art style and sounds belong to) possibly some Adolla shenanigans

Fuzecore

The sound design was really good in this episode

Pointless less

I'm sorry, but this episode is better produced then every episode of 1st cour season 3 (except maybe episode 12) re watch the arthur dragon fight compared to this and you will see.

Martin Fink

I love how the ending mirrored part ones.
