Here we go, we have arrived at the final season. The season of heavy nostalgia bait, hype moments and aura, all out war arc, peak fights with the best animation we have ever seen in SAO. After 3 seasons of being very story heavy, SAO deserves to have a season like this. The reactions to this season is what i've been looking forward to the most.

Btw if you're confused about kirito, its because when the people on the outside cut the power, it surged/fried his fluctlight, i think eugeo dying, ect also took part in causing this but the power surging was the main reason, he is literally a vegetable that cannot *really* do anything right now because of that (so its not JUST him being sad about kirito, thatd be a bit silly)

More peak! Alicization and War of Underworld are by far my favorite parts of SAO. At least until they make a new season, IF they do.

You can really see the animation upgrade this episode. First improvement, The art style is almost identical to season 3, but way more refined, season 3 tended to have lots of awkward drawings. Secondly, characters and objects are almost always moving, barely ever hanging on a single frame. Whereas season 3 had tons of scenes where it was just a camera panning from left to right or up to down on a singular frame with moving mouths. I love season 4 so much.

I agree, as long as he knows it is like a unique alternate version of Aincrad. Otherwise it might be confusing if he goes in thinking it is a continuation!
