I'm fine with this, but in response to the babyragers- what if we watch patron suggested arcs instead? even going back? I think that'd be way better. it's for sure a shame to skip ALL anime canon but its also not ideal to watch every arc either.

The anime canon you skipped in the beginning was maybe 50% of what manga canon had to offer, much higher for arcs like deepa/victor. But the Anime Canon you are about to watch is 5% (at max) of a manga canon episode. I hope you read these comments as even die hard Boruto fans are telling you to back off from these episodes

I watched all of Boruto twice, filler included. And I will tell you, Boruto's best anime canon arcs were earlier in the series. These later ones were dragged out because the anime was catching up to the manga too fast. Its sadly some of Boruto's worst anime canon except this chunin arc and maybe like one arc with Kawaki. If you want to pad out this reaction, go back to the Deepa arc.

Well… after u are done with this arc, you can start the older Anime Canon that are really relevant. After the exam arc they did Boruto really dirty with the story and animation.
