Nick, just an FYI, the next episode has an end-credit scene that you DO NOT want to miss. Trust me, it’s very cute. I’m so glad that you have grown to love this show as much as I have, for the same reasons as I do. This is not the end for SAO, but this Arc is definitely my favorite. Enjoy these last couple episodes, because when the show truly does end coming up, it hits you hard man.. prepare for the happy-tears.

In the novels Kirito and asuna did share a passionate kiss instead of resting their foreheads on each other. Another point on the graph that shows that someone constantly nerfs asuna in the anime.

one of the the few things i dislike about kirito is how he lies to keep the ones close to him safe instead of relying on them for help. 18:20 look at how worried asuna looks when she realised kirito had lied to her. She knows hed only do that to protect her, meaning something is up

Asuna staying behind with Kirito is such an amazing moment. She is willing to sacrifice her life, her future and risk never seeing her friends and family again so that Kirito doesn't have to suffer alone for 200 years. And this is why she's best girl. God I love this anime.

I’m so glad you liked it. I’ve watched your reactions a really long time and if there is anything I know its that you don’t give that much emotion for a show you don’t like. I was definitely one that didn’t think you would like it for parts of the earlier seasons, but I knew if you made it to alicization you’d love it and I’m so glad you went on this journey! For all the hate SAO gets its one of the best. Love this show so much. Also love how important Eugeo is and how massive of a character he becomes even though he’s introduced later. He’s the MVP of aliciztion and war of underworld for sure.

I still remember when people were telling Nick to skip Sword art, but I knew he would love it! Honestly it's sad it gets the hate it does, because I think it is a classic and one of the best. Even the parts people tend to dislike aren't bad, because it's meant to feel that way. The only part that I think was not super important was the Excalibur arc before the arc with Yuuki, but even that wasn't necessarily bad, just more laid back and a more normal gaming adventure. I'm glad Nick liked it so much, and it was good seeing it again, because I actually liked The Alice seasons and arcs more than I did the first time I watched them. It was great! I hope the Sword Art Online movies can be part of the regular tier so I can see them. I think Nick will love them. They are like an alternate version/retelling of part of the Aincrad arc, or even before it. They are great

yeah people really overplay that excalibur arc as being bad, it was only like 2-3 episodes max and was just a fun lil arc that looking back just felt more like shangri-la frontier the way it leaned more into the mmorpg aspects

Yeah, and I like shows that have more episodes and focus on other things sometimes. I would have liked more of the everyday life in Aincrad, that was wonderful to me.
