The cool thing about the Miyagi and Daniel image reference is that it was also an og Star Wars reference. They photoshopped Mr. Miyagi's head to look like Yoda riding on Luke's back while training him in the 3rd original movie The Return of The Jedi.

if you had a library with a bunch of shitty books would you ditch the whole library or would you try to replace the shitty books with good books? people like you who usually say things like "if you dont like it why are u still here"; "if you hate it so much just stop watching" aren't the brightest individuals unfortunately. There are so many wrong things about this type of argument ur using people even wrote books about it, but thats beyond the point. To keep it simple for you, a person won't unsub just bc there was a reaction to smth trash, what they're gonna do instead is try to redirect the reactor towards better alternatives.

To add to that analogy, you could leave the library and go to a different one. Opinions are subjective, just like that analogy. All those shitty books might be enjoyable to a different individual than it is to you. So sure, you can replace YOUR library with different books, but Nicholas’s channel isn’t YOUR library, it’s his Anyways, he is making content HE enjoys. It doesn’t matter if 5-100 people dislike it or vice versa.

We can go back and forth with that analogy but that would be meaningless, so instead ill adress ur other points. The claim "he makes content he enjoys" is the most bs one u could have ever made, while its true there is content he truly enjoys, most reactions are to things YOU and me the people who pay him enjoy, so he can't really go off the rails and react to whatever he wants cuz then he wouldn't make any money, so you can live in ur delusions and believe that what he watches is actually enjoyable for him, but thats def not the case with a lot of shows.

I can agree that he can’t just do WHATEVER he wants, but I can believe that he wouldn’t post what he doesn’t want to watch. He has said himself that he has chosen/refused to watch shows/anime’s because he didn’t enjoy them. So no matter how many people beg for it, he most likely wouldn’t. So, even as a paying Patreon user, if I were begging him to watch an anime he’s blatantly said he wouldn’t watch, he wouldn’t do it.

I'm impressed that Nicholas immediately clocked what a creep Hal was from the start. Most people buy that he's just a sad nerd for a long time. He makes her uncomfortable at work, invites her to a "party" right after her friend died, and punches the van hard enough to hurt himself after a rejection (and blames the van.) That's all before he gets powers. Don't hit on people who can't get away from you, if they want to, like your coworkers. If you have to ask them out, do it once and then accept the answer. If you like someone then you shouldn't want them to feel stressed at work because someone they're not interested in is always making advances. Just fucking be normal.
