A lesson learned the last two episodes is that, bullet trains are white. Also, I really enjoy these reactions where youre just fully locked in to the plot, trying to figure out every detail, and getting mind blown by the plot twists far more than your other reactions. But that's just me. Even though they arent the best for reacting, shows that try to stretch beyond the screen and give thought provoking messages that just sticks to you well into the future are what you seem to enjoy the most. Shows like this, Monster, Orb, Frieren, Vinland Saga, etc. Are what both you and I want to see. Glad to be here for these types of shows. I feel like you'd love Legend of the Galactic Heroes. But thats for another time when we're finished with Monster, VE and S;G. Enjoy the anime roster you have now. It's the best roster I've seen in a minute out of all the reaction channels.

Steins gate is one of the OG anime with time travel that inspired many anime such as RE:ZERO (they took the blueprint and added isekai and more torture).

Not sure anyone have told you, but Steins Gate was a anime adepted from a galgame. The later half contain some elament that may not make a lot of sence in a TV show, but it was the bone of the original contant.

When I first watched Steins;Gate back in 2011. I was furious with Okabe for standing so close to the edge with Mayuri, they were practically asking for something like that to happen. But at the same time, I can't really blame him, considering what he was going through and the sheer emotional turmoil caused by all those time leaps and traumatic experiences

Nick that’s why I’m honestly glad that it took this long into your anime journey to get to this anime because now you can appreciate it more. People have been telling you to react to this since the beginning me included. But it never ending up winning a poll. But now since you’ve watch so many anime you can appreciate it so much more and because you heard so much about it ended up reacting to the first episode out of curiosity. Basically what I’m trying to say is if you watched this early on your journey, you wouldn’t be able to differentiate it from all the shows you’ve already watched and see how special it was but now that you’ve seen so many anime and all the different tropes you could really start to appreciate this for the master class I’m sorry telling it is. I’m glad that you’re enjoying this as much as you are !!

the reason they were so close to the edge at the subway station is because he wanted to be in front of everyone where everyone could watch if someone suspicious approached without being mixed in with everyone where they could be approached and pulled to the side like in the train station. He tries many many different times and Mayuri dies in increasingly fucked up ways in the visual novel

@NicholasLightTV I thought you might want to know this, but There is an alternate Episode 23 (I think it was like 23 or something, alpha or beta with the symbol) that leads into a sequel/middle-quel (It takes place in a different timeline or something?) It was made after Steins;Gate, however they tie-in together. it is an alternate version that leads into Steins;Gate 0, but that takes place from the alternate episode until it finishes, then you watch the normal Episode 23 after finishing Steins;Gate 0 and then finish regular Steins;Gate by watching regular 23 to the end of regular Steins;Gate. The reason I bring this up, is instead of watching OG Steins;Gate, and then Steins:Gate 0, Would it be possible to watch the alternate episode 23 and go into Steins;Gate 0, then afterwards watch the normal episode 23 and finish Steins;Gate from there? Timeline wise that is how it goes, and I feel like it makes the ending happier and more satisfying. If you did without saying anything and skipped the opening and endings, people might not notice at first, and it could be cool for the reactions. There's also a Steins;Gate movie which I think takes place after the OG Steins;Gate I think, which means it comes last, but I could be remembering wrong. I think this would be cool to do, because it would put the timeline of the series in order rather than when they were made. As for show recommendations, If you like Steins;Gate, after you finish it, you should try Summertime rendering.

I got what you meant, yeah, I disagree though! It's been awhile since I watched it all, but, I do remember it connecting slightly, I feel like the follow through with how 0 ended, which I remember them tying it up with certain plot points that also happened in OG, to keep things vague. I feel like having 0 end then seeing the connection, then it ending with the more positive ending, and consistent timeline of OG instead of how it ended in 0, then seeing the payoff in the OG show would be nice. The only way I would say normal way would be better, is if there are spoilers or things that won't land right or work based on chronology etc. Which given when they were made, could be the case to be fair, but I don't think that is the case. I think it could be cool to see it in chronological order. I feel like it would be more fun! I think ending it with the movie, although, I can't remember if that takes place after the end of the series or a bit before. I am pretty sure it was after the end of OG Stein's;Gate, which would put it last chronologically.

Nah, Psycho Pass and Death Parade are mid. Death Parade is episodic so theres no tension and you dont care aboutth characters, and Psycho Pass doesnt really have a clear plot until way too far in, and theres no suspense or tension
