I know you should watch Bakemonogatari first, but i always say start with the Kizu films (even though it isn's the correct order)

Monogatari is definetly the best one, or at least I feel like so. The other 3 are on similar level of good, just very different from each other. I do like all of them.

Chronologically, yes, but Bakemonogatari was released before Kizumonogatari. It's recommended to watch Bake first to keep the mystery elements going as Kizu just answers a lot of it.

Monogatari series is definitely one of a kind in its story telling, the regular watch order will never work for Nick and the story relies very heavily on context clues so it might be too much anyways

I personally think Bakemonogatari is peak, but it is extremely confusing. You could try out chronological order, not release order - this way you are able to understand the story much easier, as there are no constant flashbacks to the "past" (that was not yet shown to the viewer)

the monogatari series IS peak, it has some questionable scenes but god it's so good if u just close ur eyes from time to time

Bakemonogatari. If you watch the next few episodes, you'll get a pretty good grasp of the world. It’s true that the first episode doesn't clearly explain the setting, and the unconventional direction might leave you a bit confused. However, the story itself isn't actually difficult to follow. Also, if you watch a few more episodes and still feel like something is off, I recommend watching *Kizumonogatari* first. It’s the story that comes first chronologically in the series. It’s going to be something really great for you, Nick. I don't know how it's regarded overseas, but theMonogatari series is so popular among Japanese anime fans that it's often ranked as one of the all-time best. I could go on and on about it, but in a word: it’s one of a kind.

I know I will get a lot of hate from the comments but Summertime rendering is better than Re:zero ( at least the first 2 seasons- dropped after hunting whale stupid ark). While Re:zero drags for 60 episodes, summer time rendering tells a similar story but better ( more concise and mature).
