Also just as a reminder, there’s 3 main sword styles, “Sword God Style”, “Water God Style” and “North God style”. In each level there’s: - Beginner level - intermediate level -Advanced level - Sword saint, water saint or north saint -Sword King, water king or north king -Sword Emperor, water emperor or north emperor - Sword God, Water God or North God. Ghislaine is a sword King. Gal Farion, the one teaching eris, is the sword god the highest level. So he’s way stronger than Ghislaine.

Yeah Nina actually appeared during the Badigadi fight in season 2 but was never formaly introduced so she is just showing in the background tailing Rudy in that episode

At the same time, they did mention in the LN (during this digression in the story, so it looks like they aren't including it in the show script for the adaptation -- might mention it later, but it doesn't have much bearing on the plot, so there's a good chance it just got left out) that the Sword God Style does stand above the other styles mostly due to the Blade of Light. You'll note how easily a Sword Saint was able to defeat a Water King and how the Blade of Light blasted through the defenses of a particularly skilled North Emperor. I think the writer's logic is that speed is just about the final say in martial arts and combat and if you're fast enough, you can defeat almost any enemy. Since the Blade of Light is one of the fastest single attacks in the Mushoku Tensei world, it gives the Sword God Style a distinct advantage over the other styles. You can see a good deal of evidence for how reliant Sword God practitioners are on the technique throughout the series, from Ghislaine's handling of the kidnappers in the alley in S1 to how arrogant many of the trainees in the Hall of the Now are about their having mastered the technique when Eris had not. In the LN, Gal Farion was constantly voicing his frustration over how students would rest on their laurels over techniques like the Blade of Light, thinking that tricks like that were all it took to eventually become Sword God. They seem to have toned down his rants a bit, though, lol. I think, on balance, the rankings are still a strong indication of power in a general sense, but Gal Farion would be considered to have the edge in a fight with either the Water God or the North God. This is evidenced by the fact that Gal stands above the North God in the rankings of the Seven Great Powers and in the fact that the Water God isn't counted amongst their number at all. So in this world it's an accepted fact that like ranks amongst the sword styles don't necessarily indicate similar power levels. The rankings are relative to other practitioners of the same style and don't necessarily translate well across styles.

Something to note, if you go back into Season 2 where Badigadi is first introduced and that first beast-man challenges Rudy from his perspective you’ll see her standing next to him in that scene too

When they mention aura, they mean battle aura(Touki). They haven't really explained it so far in the anime. It was explained awhile ago in the LN. It's a mana based physical enhancement for fighters. When Nina mentioned that her dad said it takes a true master to even scratch Orsted, it's because of his touki. Rudy's spell was strong enough to pierce through it. So, while everyone jokes about "aura" in anime, it's an actual physical thing in the mushoku tensei world. Also, the "rainbow" attack is the Blade of Light they mentioned a few times. We first saw it when Ghislane slaughtered the kidnappers in Season 1. The anime studio added the idea here that they move so fast that the color you see in light distorts from the doppler effect. They show the colored outlines of eris and her opponents to give a depiction of her moving so fast color is hard to differentiate or washed out of the scene. Then when the strike is complete you see all the color rush back into scene.
