I think that's what they're saying. Episode 25 is the non-canon random episode at the end. I'm not fussed whether he watches episode 25. Whenever I rewatch I forget about it anyway until after I've watched 0 and want to watch the OVAs

Worth noting now since you'll be a bit ahead, but after this you can watch Steins;Gate 0. You can also watch 23B before hand. It's not mandatory but it helps set up the premise a bit better.

I don't know if you've already watched more of this, but try to pay more attention to the numbers in the Divergence Meter, that's going to be a helpful guide from now on (Remember that if the leading number is still a 0, then we are still in the same "line")

I do not know how far you have watched, but this is what's next after Steins;Gate(EP1-24): Steins;Gate EP25 Egoistic Paranoia. This is a lighthearted epilogue. Steins;Gate EP23 BETA - Divide by Zero, This is an alternate version of EP23 which leads to Steins;Gate0. and finally, Steins;Gate0 (EP1-23). Steins;Gate The Movie. It is loosely canon yet enjoyed by many fans. It explores the consequences of having memories from different timelines. (This is optional, but I'd love seeing ur reaction). This would complete your Steins;Gate journey.

You can either edge yourself and watch to ep 22 then 23b then steins gate 0 then 23a and 24 or climax and try to go again watching 23b then zero. I feel like the stakes were so low in zero because I knew the ending, even if its intended that way, but who knows... I watched before zero was even out. I just hate watching stuff knowing what it's gonna lead to.

Whenever I watch Steins;Gate, I watch up to episode 22, then the episode that introduces Steins;Gate 0, and finally finish Steins;Gate Just like when I watch Berserk(1997). I start with the second episode and watch the first one last. The viewing experience is better that way for me

So the best order to watch steins gate is: 1. Steins gate( 1-24) 2. Egoistic Paranoia (Episode 25) 3. The Movie - Load Region of Déjà Vu (which in my opinion is a must watch, very good movie that follows the events of ep 25) 4. Steins Gate: Open the Missing Link - Divide by Zero (which is the "opener" for steins gate 0 where it shows what happens when okabe chooses the dark path in episode 23) 5. Steins gate 0 (which is the darker alternate timeline that shows what okabe had to go through to reach the results thats shown in the original series)

But nah, you're totally paying attention and thinking about everything that's happening and this has been a great series.

I agree about the movie. I think we should do chronological order and watch the alternate ep 23, then watch Steins;Gate 0, then after watch regular 23, finish OG Steins;Gate, watch ep 25 then watch the movie maybe! It'd be fun! I think it would be better too because it would end more lightheartedly that way.

We should watch alternate ep 23, finish 0, then go back to regular 23 finish OG, then episode 25 then movie! The timeline will flow and the ending will be happier. It would be cool to see it chronologically and then things go well afterwards, and that way Nick will remember and it will be fresh in his mind.

I think steins gate is better but oh my god the extra depression u get from 0 might make it more enjoyable. Idk if any episode beat 8 of 0 as my favorite

I'm not sure if Nick got the whole point of last time leap, it's not just she died of illness. It's that their memories of their time with her was gone, coz she left when Okabe had sent that Dmail, and now he stopped himself from sending that and let her go back to 1974.
