Evangelion? It must be Christmas lately.

81 ウルトラマン

It was surprising that *Evangelion*—invariably cited as one of the defining works in the history of anime—had not previously appeared in the voting lists for anime viewership. I wonder if its popularity outside of Japan is somewhat limited?

25redshark

PLEASE REACT TO EVANGELION ITS MY FAV ANIME. Honestly this stream was a blast thank you Nick!

Andy Lyu

Add EVA to the Patreon NOW!!

Kranos078

I love evangelion. Please can we watch the second episode. 😭

Braeden Morris

Bro you have no idea how bad ive been wanting eva, i know you’re reacting to a ton of anime right now but evas gotta get added to the weekly schedule when you get a chance, it is the peak, the absolute pinnacle of anime

Byakuran

out of this list my fav is 00 but not the best starting gundam... Weird choice.... Eva is goated but a bit dated. Would love to see it modernized. The main character annoys the hell out of me though.

TheDarkWes

Darling in the franxx🙏🏼

Anzel

Please continue NEON GENESIS ive been waiting for it

Rhett

Evangelion is a top 3 anime for me no doubt, ive rewatched atleast a dozen times. Would love to see you give it a gander!! Code geass is also awesome.

Daniel iacomi

Evangelion is like the OLD testament for anime fans. You have to watch at least season 1.

Jacob

Holy evangelion? Do it please oh my God

Teletubbies on PlayStation

Evangelion is confusing to some but if you watch it please get to the movie The End of Evangelion

Umineko peak fiction

Eva is goated. Easily has some of the most complex plot lines in anime but it is a bit long. Really recommend watching the OG tv series > End of Evangelion Movie > The 4 rebuild movies. Despite what fans say yes Rebuild is required and a literal sequel to EOE

Braeden Morris

Exactly, that completes the anime canon, the rebuilds have their flaws but all in all they’re great

Raidon 95

You already watched a mecha anime tho .. Attack on titan is in fact a mecha anime

Sean

Continue Eva

Rydis -

Evangelion is a slow burn, but its worth

RadzioxxD

From Shinji Ikari, to Harribel & Yuta Okotsu Btw Shinji Father Gendo Ikari is Zaraki Kenpachi voice actor

whoami?

THE GOAT HAS FINALLY WATCHED EVANGELION OH MY GOSH PLEASE LET THIS NOT BE JUST A ONE EP THING AND HE WATCHES THE FULL SERIES AND MOVIES 😭🙏

Teletubbies on PlayStation

You're making it more complicated by telling him to watch the rebuild films It's way easier to get him into it if you just tell him to watch the og

Zader

Hey Nick, just wanted to thank you again for giving Gundam a shot, the franchise as a whole is very deep and the stories for most of there series are mature and political. Code geass took alot of inspiration from gundam as they both come from the same studio, just gundam usually has a bit less fanservice, with that in mind I figured 00 would have been the best place to start since its the most similar to code geass. On a side note, I'm also thanking you for the attention you are giving to me for my recommendations, lately Ive been dealing with a very bad case of chronic depression, and watching your content is something that's helping me a little getting through a very rough time in my life. I'm hoping to get more involved in your streams once my situation stabilizes, and maybe help you out in any way (via modding or recommendations). Thank you once again Nick for just being the most entertaining reactor streamer out there, and keep kicking ass.

Umineko peak fiction

No point in watching eva if you don’t finish the whole series which concludes Shinji char arc. Nothing complicated about watching it in release order

Vapor Ri0t

DARLING IN THE FRANXX

Arctic_Hokkyoku

There is another good Mecha Anime that was inspired by Code Geass, it’s called Guilty Crown and it came out in 2010s

Arctic_Hokkyoku

Escaflown is also a good classic from around the time of Evangelion. It’s more of a fantasy mecha

Igor Żółtowski

I hope one day you'll react to Darling in the franxxx

Illarion

Naaaaah. Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans would have been better 😭

The Ganon Cannon

Happy to hear his streams are helping :) stay up man!

Nick pleaseeeee continue watching Gundam 00!!!!! Definitely the best Gundam series for new joiners. Dun need to learn previous series’ settings and bg to start this one. Also I think the story is short but detailed and complex enough to enjoy. Hope Nick can see this commentttttttttt
