97 berserk.is pure vibe. If you will still want, golden age trilogie movies are quite good, especially has best depiction of laat bit before arc ends

i would 100% love to see more berserk not only am i surprised to see you reacting to it but after watching the anime i 100% know ud love the hell out of it i remember when you mentioned reading or trying the manga out and ever since then i was hoping for you to one day watch it but never imaged in a reaction since it is very explicit but with it being on patreon it should be watchable

Don't listen to the idiots, you start on episode 1. Just because it takes place after the end of the show doesn't mean anything. Rest of the show is how we got there. Its a story telling technique on..damn how did we get there from this.

i hate when people ask for other shows in the comments of a show, so this is hypocritical, lol. PLEASE at some point Nick has to watch DEVIL MAN CRY BABY (not referring to devil may cry, that shit isn't anywhere near these shows). Nick, if you like extremely dark, insanely brutal, and the most underrated filth that will make you cry, then you would love this older anime. it looks extremely good, and i hate how little it's talked about. if you enjoy berserk this much, you would love devil man crybaby ten times more. (btw this show has more gore and nudity than most animes put together, so it would be a patreon exclusive lol.

to clarify. the manga starts with the Black Swordsman Arc and them continues with the Golden Age Arc. so the 1997 version does it right. also no matter how good any anime adaptation is, even if lets say studio madhouse or mappa would animate berserk, the manga will ALWAYS be superior. For Nicks sake i wish for him to just take his time and READ berserk at his pace when he's done with the anime reactions.

Yeah the movies are very good, and movie 3 actually shows the whole eclipse rather than cutting it short, there’s cut stuff in both the TV and Movies, but it’s different things so both are good to watch. Also the CGI in the Movies is actually well used. The directing of the movies is top tier

4:23 Whats funny about the GOT to Berserk comparison is its basically acurate....except Berserk is a step up. I told my dad that if he liked Game of Thrones he would enjoy this anime. We watched the Golden Age Movies....he was enthralled.
