I have never had a reaction like this before. Im not comfortable crying infront of people, it's not something I really do, but it felt good to let it all out with this Masterpiece.

HF wasn’t a great adaptation, but is was a Exceptional Fate film. Things obviously get cut a bit. But keeping Akaza’s whole conclusion in one sitting is a great choice.

I live in Japan and already seen this movie in the theater but for me at that time, it was 8/10. But seeing it for the second time understanding more and seeing it with you(Nicholas), really changed my mind and hit me more!! Now it's 10/10!! Honestly depending on pacing episodes COULD be better but ill always prefer an uncut movie for these type of arcs. Nothing would kill the feeling you get from akaza fight more like spliting it into encounter/fight/cliffhanger/flashback/conclusion through multiple episodes. Same with Sunrise Countdown

Being a manga reader who's top 3 kny character is akaza is so hard with hindsight because you have to watch people insult him. However it always pays off because you get to see there reaction and there slight change of mind when they see his backstory. Always satisfying 😌. To all the Demon Slayer haters out there (not all of you, only the ones who constantly slam the series online and hate everyone who loves it because it's too "simple") I genuinely do not understand you. Demon Slayer is in no way a masterpiece in anything other than visuals. HOWEVER it does what it does in a brilliant way. It isn't just a fun series, the story is in no way shape or form too simple. It does have layers and it does have great development moments and above all it has emotions. I don't understand how you can criticise a show like Demon Slayer with great characters and a solid story and with emotional peaks for being too simple, then get hyped over a show like Dragon Ball which is absolutely the most basic and simple show you can ever watch

Dude I loved the reaction. One small criticism I have is I wish you would pause the movie for a bit to let out your thoughts so you wouldn't miss anything, but overall it was great. I'm the same exact way in which I hate showing vulnerability in front of others, but I personally thought it was amazing, and I'm sure others did as well.

1. Demon Story story is simple nothing to complex or actually suspenseful 2. Character are one-dimensional and there's no development apart training physically for the sake to be stronger and defeat the villain. But no growth to the character itself 3. Most characters are annoying especially Zenitsu 4. Comedy is subjective so I won't go deep. But I find it childish. 5. Even though Dragon Ball doesn't have complex story but at least it had character development and great fight scenes There is no surprise that Demon Slayer is considered to be carried by the animation...

It didn't debunk but proven even more. So, i'll be nice as well and explain to you 1. Whole concept of backstories of each demons especially Akaza is forced. Which I see lazy writing. So now that after bunch of episodes of showing how evil is Akaza you expect me to have some sympathy? 2. Whole thing with Zenitsu's "character growth' off-screen is just awful. You spend a whole story with the characters who is annoying, afraid to fight and just out of nowhere he gets a new skill and that's a character growth? No, he is the same whiny character that didn't learn anything... At least the author could've explored Zenitsu's abilities which get unlocked while he's asleep.

Yeah, not as good in terms of animation, and overall production, but i agree chainsaw man movie had more real life moments and genuine feelings to it. I feel like the CSM movie carried an underlying but deep message with loneliness and love which hit me deep in my dam soul. Both 10/10 movies but indeed i preferred chainsaw man over this, by a smidge.

in my opinion, this is the only 11/10 anime movie for me. but the moment i finished watching this reaction, i went and watched the reze arc reaction on here, and that is a 12/10 movie. holy shit are these two movies unreal, but i swear Fujimoto's movie literally OBLITERATES the infinity castle. theyre not even close, i have friends who say the infinity castle movie was way better than the reze arc, and all i can say is L taste, theyre in completely different leagues for crying out loud, even tho i'm in love with them both. the reze arc is the only thing ive watched where i cried because of how beautiful the art and soundtrack was, in parts that had zero emotional content.

Amazing Movie. Probably an 8-8.5/10 for me Art & Animation was awesome, story probably the best part of the Arc so pretty good and Insane Voice Acting! The only negatives I can say is that the movie feels a bit off to me. Might be just me but you can rly feel that the content of the movies was not meant to be a movie but rather an anime season. To me it felt like a bundle of Episodes rather than a story meant for a movie. Obv thats not the movies fault since the arc was never meant to be a movie. But because of that the movies feels a bit drawn out at some points. It could easily be like 15-20 min shorter which would result in better pacing. Also think the Douma fight was pretty bland. It looked pretty and the art was amazing but the animation and choreography was way worse in comparison to the rest of the movie. But overall pretty happy with the movie. Lets see how the next 2 movies will pan out. Since they are alot weaker stroy wise based of what we know from the manga but I am sure that they will improve many of the flaws we encountered in the manga. Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle is probably my 3rd fav Anime movie of last year after Chainsaw Man and 100 Meters.

Dude, I cried at Akaza's backstory scene too, but as you started crying, I started balling like a dang baby man. This movie truly had so much heartfelt thought, passion and work put into it. Such a fantastically animated, directed and curated movie. 10/10 from me too Nick.

Shinjuro, gyuataro, daki, koko, akaza, tanjiro, zenitsu all had character development some better than others. It may be basic but a basic story doesn't = bad not everything needs aot level story. Solo leveling is a good example people can love a basic story done well enough

There is nothing wrong about basic story. That's true but some people exaggerate it like DS story is one of the kind. In regards of character development sorry but personally I didn't buy it. As most "character development" happened off-screen or forced and that gorwth on screen is shown once and then goes back to the same characters like nothing happened, kinda reminds me of episodic cartoons where character development or world building doesn't matter only gag matters.
