Alright so here we have yet another mostly anime original Ep with character interactions we never got to see. Since this is clearly another transitional set/buildup Ep for the next big one that we thought this one would be, and with Gerard as the last of Yhwach’s royal guard The Schutzstaffel no more, here is what they represent being the 4 different aspect methods and eras of warfare- Pernida Parnkgjas (Ancient Warfare / Primitive Biology): As the Left Hand of the Soul King, Pernida represents primordial, organic existence and ancient combat where life, raw flesh, and evolution were the core tools of survival. Gerard Valkyrie (Medieval Warfare / Crusades): As the heart of the Soul King, Clad in knightly armor with a Nordic motif, Gerard embodies the physical, mythic valor of medieval holy wars, relying on raw physical might, faith, and the concept of the invincible champion. Lille Barro (Modern Warfare / Firearms): As the first Quincy granted a Schrift by Yhwach, Wielding a rifle-like manifestation and the absolute piercing power of the X-Axis, Lille reflects modern ballistic warfare—long-range, invisible, and lethal precision from a distance. Askin Nakk Le Varr (Current/Futuristic Warfare / Biochemistry): As the wild one with abilities centered on calculating lethal doses, immunities, and manipulating biological lethal thresholds ("The Death-Dealing"), Askin mirrors modern and asymmetric warfare, such as chemical or biochemical manipulation. Now Uryu Vs Yhwach was honestly surprising as not only is it anime original, but him being able to use his Schrift the Antithesis to swap Yhwach’s futures of the Almighty is a massive amp that nobody saw coming and is likely part of how this all ends, adding another layer to the conclusion.

Another clear W for rezero this week due to emotional impact and we are not even in the peaks of s4 yet lmao. WN readers know next week alone will prob clear all of TYBW due to the whole season building up to it . I wouldnt even put this ep past most recent OP ep. Ichigo has gotta have some of the most pathetic performances for a MC in a final arc but not like it matters. Ywatch so useless he barely catches bodies in this generic final boss gauntlent.

The ratings say otherwise. Next Re0 episode is nothing before what Bleach is about to drop, which EP 45 alone already proved. No one cares what you would put it past. Ichigoat clears your generic faves. Yhwach took out Yamamoto, Ichibe, and the whole main cast, even if only temporarily. Now Shoo Troll.

If you want to talk about ratings then lets talk about ratings. I calculated the avg for each series and cour respectively on IMBD . Bleach with just 7 eps is hovering at a avg rating of 9.29 meanwhile rezero with 15 eps is 9.29 as well. As you can see above Rezero is far more consistent with twice the amount of eps which is impressive. Usually the more eps the harder it is to get higher rating. Kinda embarassing that with 7 eps bleach is only at 9.29 while Rezero is still going strong while at the same time not being junk food shounen catered to the masses Also no story in shounen is doing a char exploration like Subaru does on what a person is at their very core and how memories shape them. Bleach is the generic theme of learning to accept all parts of your self which has been done 100 times before. Ichigo is just a knock off version of Yusuke from YYH which btw influenced bleach and did it way better. Also you named 2 background chars lol. Ichibe was just introduced for 1 arc to be killed off for shock factor and had 0 emotional impact. Yammato was irrelevent for most of the series. A certain naruto death did it way better due to giving them screen time lmao

Your logic is flawed and disingenuous as having as many as 7 EPs with that high rating is still impressive yet you call it “embarrassing”, and you ofc forgot to factor in the whole arc being a 9/10, whereas Re0 is an 8.3/10, this is why you shouldn’t be taking seriously since you argue in bad faith especially if you think one of the big3 but especially Bleach is nothing but “junk food shounen catered to the masses” or “generic theme of learning to accept all parts of yourself, which has been done 100 times before” which is just fallacious. You want to include the previous seasons of rezero? sure lets do that with bleach then. OG bleach has a 8.3 which bringes down all of bleach immensly. Lets look at other ranking sites besides IMBD. On MAL Rezero s4 is obliterating all the bleach seasons and is the 3rd highest ranked anime. On Anilist Rezero is clearing all the bleach seasons besides cour 4 even with the review bombing you nasty bleach fans are doing to us. And can you tell me which Isekai have the same premise as rezero and same themes? I'll be waiting for a response on this. You call it sufferslop when its arguablly one of the most hopeful animes in the medium lol which shows you engage with the story at a surface level. So stick to bleach since its 100x more easier to understand. And yes its clear to see the copy and paste kubo did with YYH with delinquent type mc, spirits and similar journey of Yusuke trying to find meaning in his life and accepting that fighting isnt all there is to life which can mirror ichigo fully coming to terms on what hes fighting for by TYBW. Also Bankai's were just copied from Type moon lol. Who cares if ichibe was the OG soul reaper? Im talking about him barely being explored to give a shi about him dying lol. Bleach does not do well on emotional hitting scenes. Like I said Yamamoto is way more irrelevent compared to other anime chars who share a similar role. Don't forget Kubo has only released 1 ch of the hell arc cause he himself has writers block and dosent know how to move forward lol

If TYBW is included with OG Bleach that would bump it up to an 8.7 average since the arc is a 9/10 which is still higher than all of Re0 that is supposedly in its best arc so even if it goes up in the future best believe it’ll never go beyond 8.5 as a whole. Besides that MAL is hardly a reliable or credible source anymore but TYBW Cour 4 briefly surpassed it like it was nothing and it will happen again when it’s done, count on it. Also, don’t talk about review bombing when that’s what Re0 fans amongst others have become known for as of recently. Now you wanna talk about surface level which is probably the most hypocritical thing you can bring up since that’s all you do is look at other series slandering them on a surface level. Two can play that game as Re0 is hardly any different from MT and others. No, it’s not clear to see any copy paste as Kubo never credited and therefore was never influenced by YYH, just cause they have similarities doesn’t mean he was influenced or inspired let alone copy pasted. Besides that again, emotional impact is a subjective, but it sure as hell had stakes impact and tension. Yamamoto was too OP to be any more irrelevant than he was but of course you wouldn’t understand that. And lastly, Kubo has been busy supervising TYBW’s anime which is why he hasn’t been able to focus on anything else, it’s already been leaked and rumored that he’s returning to WSJ to continue with it officially. MAL is hardly a resource yet IMBD is? What is your logic on that just cause Rezero s4 dominates bleach on that website? It is best to take resources from various sites which shows that overall rezero is higher rated. And don't forget Rezero has 2x as much votes then Bleach which shows who the true star of this season is which is crazy that a random isekei is beating one of the big 3. And even then the arcs after arc6 will be just as good. What is the similarity for MT (Also clears bleach) and Rezero besides being both a fantasy Isekei? They have completely different char writing. This just shows your a larper and have not read either. Meanwhile you can argue bleach is similar to soul eater / yyh / jjk . Also Bleach took alot of stuff from Saint Seiya if we are being real. And no Bleach does not have stakes. In a war arc literally barely any of the good guys die lol and a bunch of fodder sternritters aka antags of the week are killed off when they barely get explored. Jojo p3 antags of the week had more depth then these bums. They’re literally neck & neck on MAL so Idk what you mean by Re0 dominating, it’s just that that site is proven to be more prone to bots and review bombing which even IMDb has proven to have an issue with recently so that’s hardly any better, but still more credible. Overall sites has Bleach higher, with only some parts relative which as you said is more impressive since there’s a lot more of Bleach. Also, you wanna talk about more votes when on IMDb it has more overall votes and the 2nd most popular show and highest anime in general currently, guaranteed to hit #1 in the following weeks, regardless Bleach has such a big fanbase that most of its fans are casual or older that don’t participate on these sites, it’s popularity is not accurately quantifiable. So no, Re0 is not beating out Bleach whatsoever. Neither MT nor Re0 or any isakai compared to the best of any Shonen and you know it. You wanna talk about larping when that’s also another thing that you do ad-nauseam. Bleach literally came before soul eater and JJK so if anything they’re like Bleach. YYH just has similarities to it but sure I’ll give you Saint Seiya as that was credited by Kubo, Bleach still became its own thing. Yamamoto, Unohana and Ukitake amongst countless soul reapers died throughout TYBW. The Stern Ritters had far more char depth and exploration then the stand villains of JoJo’s part 3, they literally showed up multiple times, not just once. Also, if you watched the end since you seem to care about Nicholas’s opinion, he literally said he might have to put Bleach higher and at the end of Cour 1 he literally put it in his top 10, with Re0 never reached but it’s always changing. I wouldn’t put stock in his opinion.

I can name literally 5 isekei that surpass all of shounen besides jjk ofc even if I prefer some isekei to it . Bleach and shounen in general are to limited due to being published in a shounen magazine where they cant express their creativity to the max . Also if your a bum like kubo where Shounen didnt respect him at all during his run and told him to rush his ending which just proves my pt that the shounen demographic is to limited. Personally I prefer darker stuff so bleach is frankly to disney for me. Also IMBD is the new bot central in this new era, even more then mal or anilist so I can't trust them to much. Its going to be the same story as TYBW cour 1-3. They were #1 ranked for a while then fell off after the fan boys stop botting it and spamming 10/10s . Will be the same story once again meanwhile Rezero is steadily holding on to its top spots . Even SBR fell off lol

No you can’t as there’s literally not even 1 isakai better than any of the big3. And JJK far from the best of shonen either, like what? Bleach and other shonen aren’t limited to anything as they tell their stories and creativity through action, that’s the whole point which of course you wouldn’t understand that. Shonen Jump rushed him cause his health was declining if they didn’t respect them at all, they wouldn’t be begging for him to come back with the next arc. Imagine saying Bleach is “too Disney” as if it doesn’t have dark stuff and how is Kubo that, like what have you done in your life? Nothing. IMDb has bots but definitely not more than MAL or anywhere else, in that case we can’t even talk about ratings. Besides that SBR is only 1 Ep and it’s still in the top 5, imagine when it fully gets going? That’s what’s truly steadily maintaining its spot, nothing else.
