It’ll be worth the wait to cook for the grand finale and the big one is clearly EP 49 as we got a lot more anime original additions than we thought to set this up I’ve said this to some ppl calling it that there are Twin Peaks for this year- “Welcome to my Soul Society” and “Welcome…….to The True Man’s World”…… which will not be this year but instead next year, look out for SBR Stage 4. _____________________________________ [These are not based on my interests, but rather the level of peaks that cannot and will not be denied by any critics or ppl even with different opinions/taste and/or agenda.] Anyways Love how Orihime barely being healed instinctively new to just get up and try to fix Ichigo’s broken blade, that that’s a true Wifey for Lifey right there. It wasn’t until he rejected Yhwach that I started to realize he’s that guy and deserves respect especially now with “My only purpose has always been to crush all who seek to control me” This couldn’t be more relatable as I live above the influence of everything and everyone around me in regards to most ppl’s vices (religion, red and blue politics, sex/hookup culture, drugs, alcohol, body, decorations, as in tattoos & piercings and urbanistic music) stay true to your authentic self and focus on a single passion to awaken true human greatness, only then will you find salvation.

I also was expecting a bit more from Aizen. But don’t take anyone’s hype too seriously, there’s tons of anime original stuff, so lots of people have no clue what new stuff will be added.

No way you said this was the best? Aizen fight flow was choppy, 1:1 adaptation. If anything, this episode deserved the same treatment as episode 45..

Expected so much additional content for the aizen fight, left with disappointment. Least they could do was add abit of spice / at least made the animation as good as the episodes before... this felt rushed. Which is true, hence why the future episodes got delayed, to prevent a repeat occurence.

I’m sorry, but as a manga reader, I genuinely thought this episode was terrible. The animation was definitely lackluster, but the real issue I had was how fast paced (just LIKE the manga) the battle between Aizen and Ywach was, practically a 1:1 version of the manga, but somehow the manga version of Aizen at least /felt/ more threatening. And something about the voice acting in this one didn’t feel quite right, but that’s just me nitpicking. Feel free to let me know what y’all thought as either manga readers or anime-only watchers.

Animation definitely wasn’t lackluster, but I agree with the fast paced episodes, but that’s the problem when there’s only gonna be 10 episodes. But who knows? Aizen could still potentially come back during the final episodes. After all, this is a new ending.

They have covered everything that was in the final chapters of the manga with respect to this fight. So it will be interesting to see how Kubo wanted this fight to go. Maybe Aizen will get his bankai next episode and support Uryu and Ichigo in their combination. They have to go all out for the next 2 eps its the finale. Pierrot is a top tier studio when it comes to action choreography. Seeing Ichigo and Ishida fight together will be sick if they go nuclear for it.

The 10 episodes were more than enough in my opinion even with original anime-only content. Right now, if they continued with the 1:1 manga version, they could wrap this arc up in 20 more minutes. That aside, I really do hope Aizen returns for the continued final battle next episode when it releases next month. Of all the Five Special War Powers, Aizen has gotten the LEAST screen time and general involvement in the anime despite being thrown in the plot at the early stages of the arc.
