PEAK EPISODEEE!!! This episode is so good at building up Angel's character with Husk that it's insane. Both songs are some of my favourites in terms of messaging and lyricism in the series too. Poison ESPECIALLY with how incredible it is at showing Angel's act through just the music ALONE. Great reaction! I'm happy you finally got to this episode since this is such a good episode in terms of story-telling, especially considering how standard and fun the previous episodes were in comparison. I can't wait for next week! My favourite character is coming and I'm so excited!!!!!!

Wild Wesley

Loser, Baby is my personal favorite song from this show. It’s the much needed levity needed after the dark subject matter from Poison. I love the entire series, but this episode just hits different. And if you said grey shirt instead of red, you’da got me with that one.

Arnav Mekala

Blake Roman, Angel’s VA, and Keith David, Husk’s VA, absolutely killed it!

Pedro Borges

To be fair if the one controlling my soul was Alastor I wouldn't be as bold in front of Alastor as Húsk, I'd be scared as shit. Husk even worse, cause Alastor treats you nicelí as loni as you dont mess with him

Gavin Hintz

I wonder if he caught that part about husk being an overlord? Or did he talk over that and miss that. Because that’s the thing him and angel have in common, they sold their souls to someone and are in a “leash”.

One of the things I appreciate the most is that this episode shows what happens when someone with a savior complex tries to intervene in matters they have no idea how to solve. Charlie means well, obviously, but she is incapable of actually helping Angel, and that caused SERIOUS problems. Which is what happens in real life when people think they can snap their fingers and immediately solve complex problems like an abusive relationship.

I already loved husk but this episode kinda solidified him as my favorite

Looking forward to the next episode!

Yeah... im not watching anymore of this gay sht. Not for me.

Steel Plasma

Been waiting for this all week and IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT!

Ryzomreal

"As long as it's not Angel" Ooops... x)

RumikotheFox

This episode is awesome but it kills me every time. Poor Angel. Also, it's hard for me to hear Keith David (Husk) without my brain going to Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog. XD

i joined the patreon after the copyright stuff and just wanted to say that reactions like this have helped me feel less alone & smile again since my heart dog passed in july. i hope youtube gets their act together & reforms their copyright strike process

Bilge Radić

Bilge Radić

If he didn’t he’ll probably figure it out next episode

I wonder if him treating his nice is cause of Rosie’s influence

I wouldn't say Charlie has a saviour complex exactly, I view her as more naive because of her upbringing and can't really imagine people can be this mean and abusive until she sees it herself. She just wants to help, but as she said earlier in the show, she thought this would be easier. At least that's my interpretation of her character, especially after we see more of her being super gullible and naive in season 2. I think she just had a super sheltered upbringing, not to mention she's royalty so even the people she probably met growing up were being fake nice to please her family. And unlike the majority of people she's around now she didn't have a whole human life before she got to hell, so even people who might not have dealt with hardships or common scams or whatever in their life might have seen them in movies or heard about them on the internet or whatever, she didn't have that at all. That's why she falls for (out of context minor season 2 spoilers after this sentence........) the classic "I think Coolsville sucks" reporting trick so easily. But that huge paragraph being said, everything else I totally agree with. And those people who think they can fix abusive relationships with the snap of their fingers also often think things like "Why hasn't she just left him already? He's terrible to her!" (Obviously anybody can be in an abusive relationship, but I think using neutral they/them for both people in my example would be confusing. XD) When the answer is never as simple as "Just leave". There can be tons of mental and/or physical roadblocks and it can be really complicated, even for the people involved. Anyways, that's enough complaining for one day, how has your weekend been so far? XD
