Maomao was 17–18 years yrs old at that time. She is small and skinny because she grew up in a poor family. Her house doesn't even have a bath tub. No nutrition to add height and meat to her body. Poor girl.

Apothecary Diaries was definitely underrated when it started airing. I read the manga so I was hyped, but it took a week or two before people started noticing how much of a gem this show is.
