Abigail Jerry

Ooooo yesssss lezzzzzz gooooooooooo

DrSkivient

you gotta wait a few episodes for the plot to be presented, then this arc becomes pretty great in my opinion

He said he’s going to wait til the seasons over to post the whole season reaction. He said, “1+ hr reaction” 🔥 so imma have snacks and everything

Yousef

🏐☄️☄️

H3fto

second best arc in my opinion

Christian Clark

I wasn't a fan of the arc until second half of it

Jack DD

Probably the weakest arc, but gets progressively better.

beansprouts

Bruh who keeps spoiling shit for Nick? Its annoying af he may be best just not reading the comments section honestly.

Neno

the arcs second half is pretty fire, next arc is the best arc in all of shonen tho !!

beansprouts

bro just let him watch and make his own opinions, you dont need to tell him what to expect every 5 seconds.

eric

Bro guys stop spoiling. if you just absolutely have to comment something just make sure to remind nick how bungie gum works.

petertraicer

Killua is so gay man, i love him

Muzaffar

Please make anime sound louder than your voice

Limpano 14

its not the best arc but also not the worst. it takes a few episodes for it to pick up tho

Jitox

A lot of people dont like greed island, but dont worry, just like everything in HxH is not JUST collecting cards. iI think you will enjoy the twists and things that happen. I really like it myself. I love your predictions oh god hahahah i dont want to comment on anything but you hunchs are pretty spot on

JansWichtig

FR i always forget that this Arc exist. But it is not bad its pretty awesome and some nice Character development is happening. So enjoy it Bro. BTW Skyrim,World of Warcraft and GTA 5 are existing more than 10 Years now and people still playing them.

Napolii

Best anime on this channel 💯

Maraka

This arc is 15 episodes long, so whether or not you end up liking it, it flies by pretty fast (and no don't worry, the cards are not at the center of the plot lol, tho they're def the main aspect of this world). At any case, you'll for sure find the fights to your liking. By the way, each arc of HxH could be a whole manga in itself, the world changes, the characters, but also the tone, thematics, and even writing style. The best way to navigate this whole oeuvre in my opinion is to take it as a huge adventure, enjoying every detour (wink) and let yourself be guided by whatever Togashi's trying showing you, because you'll always end up getting something valuable out of it. One Piece, which I believe you'll discover soon enough, is kind of like that too. Thanks for the reaction !

muhammad abdelwahab

IMO, this arc is kind of boring for the most part, but it leads directly into the next arc(which has the best parts of this show) and it has a couple of important stuff in it too

Kei Marshal

what are you talking about lame? this is the best arc!

Filip

In my opinion this is still better than the next arc

Yolena

This arc is a development arc for Gon and Killua. Its extremely important since its the major training arc, and its really short

Bandit

Each arc has its perks and theme. I like this arc for the typical adventure, hxh style. It's all happy with Gon and Killua's friendship and game-play. Very battle-ready like the hunter exam. But that's why it's an important arc, you'll see a contrast in friendship dynamic and plot between this arc and the next one. Prepare yourself lol. There's a lot to appreciate that I never realized before I binged the whole series. Just like another commenter said here, the elements and writing style change each arc but it's all a masterpiece in my opinion if you understand how in-depth this was written. Enjoy! <3

wtf u on. the next arc is literally one of the best arcs in anime

dani

WWW NIC LOVE U

Scarlowi

how do people not like this arc? there is not a single bad or boring arc in hxh and this one has some of the best moments

Angelo Marchantt
>>109632041

Naa the next arc (wont say the name for spoilers) has great moments if not some of the greates moments in anime, but it also has some of the most boring episodes ever in anime history, it suffers from the great problem that hunter as a whole suffers, adhd, shit is just all over the place, it's brilliant, but also shit at the same time

Angelo Marchantt
>>109635969

Plz dont get me wrong, I love hunter hunter, but it is not a masterpiece with in depth writing. Its literally all over the place, and it only gets worse as it goes on wich is understandable considering everything surrounding the mangaka, its like fever dream after fever dream follow by plotholes and shit he forgot followed my masterpiece episodes and complex writing followed by "I forgot my own god damn system and rules"

Scarlowi

I like this arc more than the yorknew arc

Wild Wesley
>>109632041

I agree. The next arc has some of the most emotional and badass moments, but the arc as a whole is too long and the way they change the role of the narrator kinda annoys me. I prefer show don’t tell story telling. I won’t say more to avoid spoilers.

Wild Wesley

The news anchor comment about the prize potentially being a Dragon that grants a wish, is a direct reference to the Dragon Ball franchise. Hunter x Hunter references a lot of other manga/anime but especially Dragon ball and Togashi’s previous work Yu Yu Hakasho. You can really see it in a lot of the character designs. Also Hunter x Hunter is a very gender queer show. It’s awesome how progressive it is in that regard, especially given when it was made. If the characters use a specific pronoun to address a character, just go with it even if they don’t look like you expect and you’ll be fine.

Maggie

Hell yeah new arc I am ready!!!

Lawlach

Dodgeball. That's all I'll say.

Bandit
>>109635969

Well I respect your opinion but I’m also a writer and English major. I didn’t like the next arc the first time I watched it. Hated it. But when I studied the writing elements like foreshadowing and plot organization for an assignment at school, it was actually well crafted and I aspire to write like togashi one day. This is my opinion too though so please respect it.

dani
>>109680702

mf. why there always have to be kids like u who can't keep their mouth shut

wildwilf

WAHOOOOOO HOOOOOO

ThatOneDeerHeiv

Alot of people dont like this arc but it does get more interesting as it goes on

Tilak Sharma

Mam there's always a smile on my face watching HxH❤️

Strange

Greed Island is IMO the weakest hxh arc, but even at its worst it is still a 7/10.

dani
>>109787717

I'd say it should be a 8. it's short. has good fights, a ton of character development and more. it's on par with the first arc

Rovonn

this man just confused native americans with black people

nicholas edwards

greed island is good, it grew on me a lot. I didnt like it initially. And after chimera, it really doesn't hit just as hard. But that being said it's a great arc to bridge into stuff. The training wheels are coming off

Normadus

38:20 yeah you look like a person that would hate cards and reading ;D

Poragami

dude holy fuck can u stop with the screaming lmao it's hard to balance the audio

Eggu

⭐️-_-💧

void

ngl this arc gets better when hisoka shows up XD without hisoka this arc would be boring af

Luke Tjalkens

Idk why people hate on this arc, man. I love it.

Erik dos Santos
