Nick what matters isn’t the cards it’s the strategy they each one use to get to their objective, the cards are just there to increase the complexity beyond only nen. Chimera arc also has a lots of planing and strategizing, so you better get used to it

Anonymous

nick alluki is a boy

LOLlamerLOL1

That yoyo weights 50kg not 50 pounds. 50kg is 110 pounds

K4SHIF
>>111321035

There's no doubt he knows that is just the reference he's using to say that 50 pounds is too heavy, but 50 kilograms is on an altogether different level.

Rovonn

So excited for the fight in the next episodes

MIce1987

Yellow boy was Zenitsu from Demon Slayer

Scarlowi

the phantom troupe do nothing in this arc. they are the worst part of this arc

Scarlowi
>>111318797

yes i agree the cards are fine but it's just about the general goal of the arc and it's better to understand what that is. I wish he would at least pay attention to what they are talking about and what they're doing instead of complaining or not paying attention every time any character besides the phantom troupe is on screen

PepsiMan

will yall annoying mf's shut up about the next arc and let him make his own opinions.

Scarlowi

holy shit thank you for finally clarifying why you look to the side all the time. hopefully you can still read the subtitles on OBS too though

Nagash

1999 version did animate this arc, but it was done as specials later as it wasnt in the manga when the original anime ended

Anthropomorphic

Love you nick, but your missing the strategy of what they are doing throughout. You say character 'a' is stupid for action 'b' but you didn't pay any attention to the leadup to the decision or the payoffs.

James Perrott
>>111344407

No? he was right. they faked it being their last teleport card, and the dumb villains believed it

James Perrott

Please try not to overhype yourself for the next arc cause of all the people overhyping it themselves, your expectations might just get too high and end up getting dissapointed but youll enjoy it more than this arc thats for sure lmao

Filip

Gentru was shit, that fight with razor was the best in this whole arc

Scarlowi
>>111344407

No he wasn't right. It was their last teleport card. The villains were literally farming teleport cards and they knew they had more. The strategy was to leave the game and give all their cards to Goreinu while they act like they gave up on the game, forfeiting all their cards.

Jamesy

Calls the Greed Island arc a training arc, heh well when he sees what's to come it's pretty understandable why it's a training arc

Jitox

So, greed island is coming to an end, next two chapters are final one, you did well nick. I really like this arch but yeah it can get a lil strange. But now its TIME its time for one of the best archs in anime history

dennis

nearly done, u did well haha

IamBaum

I'd love to a see a Yugioh reaction from Nick, he may definitely maybe probably really like it :3

Abigail Jerry

STICK WITH IT!! You won’t regret it

dani
>>111363100

wdym. the next two episodes are sick. he'll definitely enjoy them the most. especially the last moments of ep 75

dani
>>111353361

that is the best anime arc. most of the anime community says that

crud
>>111353361

nobody says its the best arc in all of anime. its just the best arc in hxh.

JayFPS

Why do people hype next arc up so much? I prefer Hunter Exam and Yorknew City then the bugs

Fenronin (Dorian Dubourg)
>>111416565

This arc really divides people, they usually either hate it or love it, i'm the second type, I love yorknew city too of course, the hunter exam have some slow parts when rewatching (mainly the contest with the tags)

dani
>>111416565

maybe coz the majority of the anime community thinks this is the best arc of all time ? you can check wherever you want, you’ll either find hxh arcs taking spot 1 or naruto

JayFPS
>>111416565

Nah people are weird and over hype shit... Chimera Arc is way too over hyped its trash to even say its close to best Arc of all time is an insult... Its nothing compared to L Arc Death Note, Female Titan AOT, Bleach Soul Society Arc, BC Elf Reincarnation Arc, One Piece Marineford/Enies Lobby Arc, Naruto Pain Arc or even DBZ Cell/Freiza Arc I can go on... Chimera Ant and Skypiea Arc from One Piece are the worst arcs I've seen in anime complete yawn fest... I personally think Phantom Troupe Arc is the best in HxH and closer to being Best Arc of all time

Napolii
>>111416565

You answered your own question. "I" prefer ≠ everyone else prefers. Just bcs you find the chimera ant arc trash doesn't mean the big majority who finds it peak have a shit taste. That's not how the worlds work bud

Wild Wesley

Believe it or not Kalluto, Killua’s sibling that replaced Hisoka as #4 is a boy. Hunter x Hunter was very progressive with gender expression, especially given when these chapters were written.

JayFPS
>>111416565

Are you good? Me saying I prefer is not answering why others enjoy Chimera Ant Arc so much... The people who like Chimera Ant Arc are the same people who prefer Vinland Saga season 2 over 1... Straight comical behavior honestly getting trolled by people saying OMG THIS IS THE GREATEST and turns out to be a major disappointment

Ethan J Soto
>>111416565

You honestly believe DBZ Freiza arc is better than the Chimera Ant arc? Goku dies vs Raditz, everyone waits for him to come beat Vegeta/Nappa, Goku is hurt and everyone waits for him to beat Ginyu Force, Goku is hurt and everyone waits for him to beat Freiza. Oh yeah bud, totally top tier writing.

Napolii
>>111416565

The reasons you enjoy an arc is different for others, there is no definitive answer. But overall the chimera ant arc is considered one of the best anime arcs to date, it always ranks very high on anime critics website and through polls. Just bcs it's not at your liking, doesnt mean the majority who do enjoy it have a shit taste. The arc has graphic content, sense of immediate danger and death, great villains, MC's character development, s-tier ending and fights Also "The people who like Chimera Ant Arc are the same people who prefer Vinland Saga season 2 over 1", do you have a url with stats or straight cappin now?

JG

50 kilograms is around 100 pounds by the way. in terms of the yo-yo weight

JayFPS
>>111416565

I mean you missed out alot... But no way you said 'great writing' sarcastically for Frieza arc and then compare it to Ants kill humans king is born, king goes to play board games with a blind girl, all the hunters lose to the elite guards, knuckle runs around, Gon has a tantrum, the king kills old man, old man uses a final attack, then the elite guards and king get killed in the least unsatisfying way ever... The gas... Wow splendid writing now thats top tier

JayFPS
>>111416565

Napolii no way you said S tier fights and ending LOL IM DEAD

Aaliyah

Alot of people stopped watching during the big arch cause ot gets really wierd. But I honestly love it, it's emotional has great fights and the story is top

Noveria

So I guess there's no patron exclusive content anymore?

Napolii
>>111416565

If you say that the chimera arc ending is bad then i feel sorry for ya. Lemme guess frieza arc ending is superior for you loll

JayFPS
>>111416565

Feel bad for me you really are delusional no no no... I feel bad for you and yes it is... Are you stupid? Best friend dying triggers Transformation to Super Saiyan which was a prophecy that was teased earlier in the show and producing a globally iconic moment, then there was a great battle, planet destruction, satisfying victory for the MC and cliff hanger making it out that he died with the planet being destroyed.... Compare that to the Hunters lose all there fights to the King & Elite ants but then the Elite ants and King die to gas, meanwhile Gon has a Tantrum and nearly commits suicide to gain power for brief amount of time... Oh and the king plays more board games and the blind girl dies too... Wow so good right... NOT... What utter trash GAME OF THRONES HAD A BETTER ENDING Also the King is literally a rip off Cell

Ameth

the yoyo was 110 pounds, 50 kilograms is a loooot of weight

Illy Rosen

Bro you mention sometimes that you saw pictures here and there of hxh (probably from twitter). Just please try to stay away from spoilers, it's mostly for your benefit

Eggu

⭐️-_-💧

DerpDarkSheet

Yeah. The 1999 version did not finish before this arc. It ended with this arc. I think the 1999 version did this arc better but for the love of all that is holy - stop complaining about it. We get it. You don't like cards...
