I couldnt do it guys... I just couldnt LMAO. Be mad at me, that's fine. I’ll go back to the Foxy Arc one day if people really want me to watch it but I was really bored. Don’t blame the chat. I’ve let chat influence me in the past, but this time was completely my decision. Keep it cool in the comments! I’ve already gotten tons of messages from people mad that I skipped it, but even if I watched this anime off camera I’d skip it. Im just keeping it honest with y’all and hopefully that’s cool!

Alot of the foxy arc is actually filler in the anime but the parts that aren't were in the manga, so they technically aren't counted as filler on the filler guide websites but that said, they are literally completely skippable and you wouldn't miss a thing so it's not like it matters at all frankly. It's like manga filler almost lmao with how unimportant it is to the plot. Only thing you need to see is the second half of the last episode where aokiji is introduced (after the arc is pretty much over) and you're good. Genuinely doesn't matter and I'm sure most people are happy you're already at water 7, one of the best arcs in the whole series.

No actually I didnt. ImTheres only like 3 bad arcs out of the 36. And the ones I previously mentioned makes up 700+ episodes. Overall its bad but its the most sold manga by a massive margin and hold the most records. Lol.

I’m cool with that. But definitely don’t be influenced by people when you get to thriller bark. A lot of people shit on that one as well, but that one is actually important and really good imo. A lot of people shitted on skypia too but you ended up liking it. So as long as you go into the new arcs trying to give it a chance I’m cool with that.

I don’t care if he skips the anime canon stuff as long as he got the canon stuff down. I honestly prefer he binged it on his own time instead so it’s fine if he wants to skip it for now. I enjoyed the arc and thought it was funny (loved Afro Luffy) but I understand if it’s not for everybody. They added a lot of filler that wasn’t in the manga and that made it drag.

No offence, but when I used to watch this in real time in Japan, I had to stop watching because the progress was so slow. I feel very sorry for those who like them, but forgive me for my honest and personal opinion. I shouldn't recommend anything here, but I'd be happy to include anime movies produced by Mad house and others, Ghibli, Evangelion movies, etc., although they are not content that can be delivered continuously and for long periods of time, as candidates for relaxation.

I think it's completely fine that you skipped this arc. BUT, I think that you should at least be familiar with Davy back fight. Based on a lot of theories in Japan, Oda wouldn't add this "meaningless" "Pirate traditional" fight if he didn't have a plan to use this in the future. Some people think that Vs. Red hair pirates may become a Davy back fight, as they cannot imagine Luffy fighting Shanks in a serious fight.

I don’t really mind that you skipped it but I feel like chat is going to get so much worse now. I know it was your decision, but they won’t see it that way. They’re going to keep hounding you to skip anytime the show slows down because they think if they can be obnoxious and get you to hate something, you’re willing to skip stuff they don’t want to REWATCH. It’ll happen in Thriller Bark, it’ll happen in Fishman and it’ll happen in Punk Hazard. I just don’t want it to kill your enjoyment of the show bc those people crying only care about themselves. Buckle in for W7 though, it’s gonna be great.

that's ok, this arc has been extended in the anime by fillers for no good reason, the important things is that you know what a davy beck fight is(I'm sure it will come up again in the future) and the meeting with aokiji, other than that this arc is useless

Just because objectively the pacing is bad, doesnt mean the show itself is bad. Objectively One Piece is the most successful anime franchise outside of Pokemon and Dragon Ball.
