Nishinoya’s va is pretty famous in the va world. He’s done many voices over the years, he’s arguably one of the most recognizable voices out there. He voices Liebe from BC and Bakugou from MHA and like many many more. His name is Nobuhiko Okamoto you’ll definitely see him in more animes.

since you seem to have gotten the stuff they explained in these eps pretty well, these right here are just a few little extra notes & fun facts that don't directly have a lot to do with the actual plot: 1. noya's voice actor is VERY famous, so while i don't remember if he's been in any of the anime you've watched so far, you probably heard him anyway at some point bc he's just everywhere. one of his most common roles is bakugou from MHA! - edit: i completely forgot liebe existed...so yeah, you've heard the guy voice liebe in BC! 2. you're right, the "neko" in nekoma, the school they're gonna play, means "cat!" many of the schools in HQ actually have their mascot in their name. nekoma has "neko", and karasuno has the "karasu" in it which means crow. meanwhile, the "aoba" in aoba johsai/seijoh for short (the school they just won against in the last episodes) stands for...green leaf. they're generally represented as plants, lmao looking forward to CG tomorrow!

Asahi is voiced by the same voice actor as Rainer from Attack on Titan. The character's personality is the exact opposite, though. Take-chan-sensei" is the same as Levi. Kiyoko is an admired character in "Karasuno," and both Nishinoya and Tanaka genuinely admire and worship Kiyoko.

Deity is pronounced Dee-eh-tee. It’s basically a god or goddess. Daichi was calling Noya the Gaurdian God of Karasuno. Also this show, while slightly exaggerated in how much time the players have to talk, how many steps they take to run across the court, other things that the animators add for drama, is based in reality. This is not the type of show where a player gets good over night and I love it for that.

When I hear Hinata, the first character that comes to mind is definitely Hinata Hyuga, but they don't get confused often because of the different genre.

Hinata is his last name and Shoyo is his first name. You can call Hinata whatever you prefer. In general, in Japan people call each other by their last name. If you are close to the person, same age or family, then some do call each other by their first name, nick name or their last name in short, for example many in Karasuno call Sugawara "Suga-san", Tanaka called Nishinoya "Noya-san", and Nishinoya called Tanaka "Ryu" which is Tanaka's first name Ryunosuke cause they are the same age.

yuki Hayashi, the man who is doin the OSTs. Remember the name. Evrything he does is awesome. Oikawa has btw the same voice actor as Hisoka. (Maybe you should read into volleyball rules, just the basics. Some of the reactions i saw in the past from Haikyu were bad, because they never knew which team scored. Its really easy to understand if you just take 5 minutes of your precious time.
