No nick he’s funny 😭 Bakugou was just in a silly goofy mood at the time. I’ll also have you know that Bakugous dad is such a sweetheart, he’s like Deku it’s kinda ironic. Bakugou will grow on you he’s like my favorite character ever despite being a little shit. It’s also mad funny that his Roman Empire is falling into a river and I doubt Deku even remembers it 😭

PEAK TIME 🔥

Animequeen_xx

My Peak Academia

Soap

The movies are canon to the main story

Dawn of Lineart

yay ive been waiting for this! soooo glad you love it, and yes you know that voice, for example he also voices inumaki. also, tokoyami va is reiner, uraraka and recovery girl are played by gabi va, and todoroki...is eren :)

Dean Machine

Are you also going to be watching the movies

lilac.

HELL YEEEEAAAAH, you deserve a fucking round of applause, istg. this whole video really shows that you are understanding the characters, the fact that you pause to analyze Bakugo's behavior is something that gives me so much satisfaction. Even though he's a complicated idiot at first, you're really trying to understand him, and best of all, you do! In fact, the dynamic between him and Deku is a little strange at the beginning, more than anything taking into account that a relationship, to be dynamic, must have support and understanding on both sides, but right now only Izuku is doing his part, These are things that change in a very beautiful way throughout history, it is not for nothing that they are considered the wonder duo. I'm so excited to see how your impression of this show continues!

Micheal Igreja

Glad to see you’re getting into the show, makes me happy seeing you so happy genuinely. Can’t wait for you to catch up to the latest seasons.

Berchi Sergiu

The anime is good, people hating it are the ones hating on the fandom mostly. It's a show you could turn off your brain and still have fun, but if you try and understand, you see a lot of characters changing over the course of the seasons.

Abigail Jerry

MHA for the winnnnn🔥 it’s such a good anime. The haters are lame. Bakugo is one of my favorites!!! Keep an open mind about him.

venza

I personally love Bakugo so much and watching mha all the way from the beginning hurt so bad

Isaiah Lamas

I'm loving every minute of this

CrAzZyKiLLA

Really glad your enjoying it, its honestly a great story and develops well.

Maycol Senpai

Let’s go more MHA… I just came from work, I did my workout, I took a shower and now I’m eating while I’m watching Nichola’s Reactions from MHA… I love this days!!!🔥✨❤️🍃

goblin.bones

Glad you're enjoying!! & Bkg has some of the greatest change in the series by the current point; I think he'll start to grow on you. :~)

MIce1987

So glad you enjoying MHA!

ZeroG

This is just the beginning Nick, like Bakugo said, he’s just getting started, and the same goes for everyone else. Can’t wait for your reaction to the last stretch of S1. It only gets better from here!

Hamad Panzer
>>128036050

Not completly. The Characters and some Details yes. But not the whole story of the movies. :D

e10

I like when anime characters can have a nasty personality without underlying trauma, it’s realistic, not every asshole watched their clan get slaughtered. Bakugo just has a crazy superiority complex from everyone gassing him up as a kid. His character development is one of the best in the show.

goblin.bones

Also as a fun fact, Nishinoya and Bakugo have the same VA!

Apathina

Your understanding of characters and ability to make jokes while also picking up on serious things is refreshing.

Apathina
>>128036482

fr its refreshing to see a reactor actually understand why characters are the way they are when others just complain or dont talk about it at all.

Vortex

Don't watch mha and don't plan on watching it anytime soon but good luck on your journey! Hope you like it

Kevin

Natuto Shippuden when?

Daniel iacomi

First season of MHA is goated. Also the tournament arc is good +the villain fights. Nobody said that first season is mid or bad, but a lot of people said it's mid after 3 seasons because it drags a lot and focuses on unnecessary stuff. I would rate 9.5/10 first season and the entire a show a 7.5

Devin e

I HATED Bakugo at the start of Mha. Dw there is more with Bakugo's character later.

Bryce Alexander

Nick please make next week a mha week, I love the show and your reactions are way too good to have just 4 ep a week

Ippodroid16

There are like several fight scenes that I can’t wait for Nick to react to.

Jitox

Im glad you noticed the wings guy. Dont forget about him

Parched Lemon

Honestly I don't think Bakugo's character development is that great. His reasons for being so rude to Deku are poorly explained and glossed over with weak explanations in later seasons. I think the only good thing from his development comes from the people he meets at school rather than actually changing his perspective towards Deku. Regardless, I don't hate him, I just see him as an annoying brat in that same way I see Sasuke tbh. I think you'll hate him less as the story progresses, but idk if you'll start to fully like him

Cakes
>>128058365

idk if we read/watch the same anime/manga, but his development and perspective of world definetely changed him so absolutley perfect in my opnion

matt
>>128058365

True, They were trying to justify a jealous, irritated bully. Honestly he was an eyesore.

amber 2047
>>128058365

Marking him as just a jealous irritated bully is doing him such a disservice. Considering his family dynamic and how no one told him he was doing anything wrong, it wasn’t just Bakugous personally but other influences around him. Idk if you’re a manga reader but he’s definitely not a jealous bully anymore.

GuGu

So mashoke tensai not coming back

Micheal Igreja
>>128043239

Im think he should do 3 eps on season finales, all seasons end in an odd number for 2 video format. Or he just does ep13-s2ep1 up to him.

Vailing Bow

The Voice actor for Bakugo is a legend and he's a well known voice actor as well. But I think his hatred or annoyance of Deku during the log is that he was fine, so he didn't need help and his feeling of superiority made him irritated with Deku showing sympathy for him. That why should someone weaker than him help him kind of thing.

Vailing Bow

Funny thing about Tenya Iida's eyes. In the manga they're actually red but in the anime they made it blue.

Vailing Bow

Also, The bird man is voiced by Asahi from Haikyuu and Reiner Braun from AoT Nick. Also, the voice at the ending is voiced by Tsukki from Haikyuu! Meruem in HxH as well.

Vailing Bow
>>128036050

So far only World Heroes Mission isn't and the other movies haven't been referenced other than character reintroduction minus the 1st movie with Melissa and her gadgets.

Vailing Bow
>>128036050

Hamad, that's not confirmed. In the manga we can see the 2 kids frim Heroes Rising and they know of Bakugo and Deku. But it's clear they don't really play a vital role in the story except Melissa. Also, we don't see David Shield in the manga, Only Melissa.

Peter Parker

that lightning guy is one of my favorite guy. he is soo goofy

巫冠柔

Nick! The bird man’s voice is Reiner and Todoroki’s voice is Eren!

wildwilf

the yap was astronomical this set of episodes but i enjoyed it lol

巫冠柔

By the way the hand villain’s voice is tsukishima!

Phintias

Bakugo was always told how great he is. Thats make him a arrogant ass. To admit that Deku is equal or could do the same with "no power" would prof him wrong. He is feeling threatened so he go in defence und act like a wild beast. He is angry because all what he believe about himself could be wrong.

Jesus Lujan

Put some respect on Trusyu chang aka Froppy my man

KaitouKay1412

i think the schedule said its on hold for the time being along with bleach but it will come back eventually

James Perrott

You better recognise that hand villains voice at the end haha Literally Meruem

James Perrott
>>128064992

He will understand and respect best girl at the end of this season... he better smh smh

ryejett

I always end up rewatching the episode 7 ending scene multiple times, it was SO much funner and more impactful this go around with you also reacting to it! I'll never get enough of that sharp brain and empathy of yours! 100% improves the viewing experience.

lvdvd

to me Bakugo is probable the best written character from the series alongside Izuku

Apathina
>>128058365

(technical spoilers) Yea I dont get this. If anything hes the most realistic bully ive ever seen in anime. He hates Deku because he himself thinks Deku is better than him (not physically but mentally). He hates that Deku is able to be weak and scared but still fight back. Basically he admires his courage and always knew that if Deku got a quirk he probably WOULD be stronger since hes more of a hero mentally. Its a cannon thing that Bakugo is the brawn and Deku is the brain in terms of being the #1 hero. The entire point is they both have to learn from eachother. Bakugo to be nice and not just care about the win and Deku to learn the battle instinct and ruthlessness required to win. It makes complete sense that Bakugo would be obsessed with "being the best" because even just in this episode its been shown EVERYONE around him has treated him like he IS the best. Hes a child its the parents and teachers fault for constantly hyping him up. If he made it to adulthood still being a jerk it would become his fault but at this point I blame the adults and in a way Deku.

Apathina
>>128042116

Agreed. Hes simply nasty because hes never faced real consequences and is always being hyped up by EVERYONE (parents, teachers, friends, and even the people he bullies).

Gonçalo Oliveira

Bakugo is basically a spoiled bully who is angry that the guy he bullied is fighting back.

PERSONALLY my ratings go like this: Season 1: 8.75/10 Season 2: 9.25/10 Season 3: 9/10 Season 4: 8.5/10 Season 5: 6.75/10 Season 6: 9.5/10 Season 1 sets the foundation very well. Season 2 is just great overall, very strong season. I could put season 3 higher but it has an arc in it that most dont even remember. Same for season 4. 5 we all know there was many miscommunications and stuff so it wasnt the best, and the chapter count and stuff. 6 is just goated.

uzumaki

I love how we’ve got the whole haikyuu VA cast in this anime 🤣 Iida is Kageyama, the bird Tokoyami is Asahi, Bakugo is Nishinoya and the villain with the hand on his face is tsukishima and there’s plenty others too

Elation ;

MOREEEE PLEASEEEE!!!

Alex Chung

todorki is eren yeager btw

Austin Silv

Any chance you can do 3 or 4 episodes instead of just 2 ?😭

Sktch

I forgot how goofy Todoroki og costume was

EVO Smokey

yoo Nick, you think you can uhm, do like a whole season per video??? Please and thank you sir

Florin DM

Idk if people realized but everything Nick said about Bakugo about his pasts and parents and trauma shit - Altough it’s false - it fits Todoroki.

Elation ;

my hero academia month please?

Daemon TLH

nick i suggest a 3 ep reaction for thursday to finish season 1 but however you do it, im here for it

Prince of the Saiyans

Bakugo doesn’t like deku because he was given an ego ever since he was little. He thought he was the best and deku needing to save him made him feel inferior for the first time. Deku saving him from the sludge villain upset him even more. Then seeing deku have a quirk made him think all these years deku had been lying to him to make him feel better about himself. Looking down on him for years and pitying him by not using it all this time. Someone he thought was weak was suddenly on his level and his ego can’t accept that.

ave!ry!

bakugo’s voice actor is actually the goat

Katsuki BakuGOAT
>>128058365

Wow please never have children that could develop mental health complexes. You clearly understand nothing. Theyre NOT justifying shit. In fact, it's the opposite. Maybe don't blame the CHILD for their struggles if they grow and learn from them. He did. If he grew up and still treated everyone like that you'd have more ground to stand on

Parched Lemon
>>128058365

I don't think any of you understood what I said either. You all keep saying "but he grew up and he's different" but TO ME, his personality still isn't all that likeable. Yes he stopped telling Deku to jump off the building and stuff, but he's still rude. He works better with other people and I do like that change in Bakugo, but as a character, I don't like him and that's OK. Also, while I do think what I said about his perspective towards Deku not changing is false, I didn't throw any blame at Bakugo in my comment. Tbh your comment just shows you're jumping at my throat without proper reading comprehension. The show clearly says that the people around him influenced how he sees himself, his quirk, and others. I am well aware of that. That doesn't mean I have to be fond of the character or his character development.
