How the Hell Do You Build NTR That Makes Sense: Part 1 (Patreon)

This part of the process is strange to share, but it helps me reflect on things. I would also love to hear from you in the comments if you feel like sharing your opinions.

The process of creating this story has been a challenge from the very beginning and that is exactly why it has been fun.

The first challenge was how do you make an NTR setup that makes sense and does not rely on an idiot plot to keep it alive. I wanted something that moves because the characters want things, not because I push them just to force a story.

I needed a couple who could function despite their differences and all the red flags on the road. To make this work they both had to discover something they never knew they needed, something they would fear losing even when things get hard.

Amy is an Alpha by nature. Fast. Impulsive. Wild enough to chase pleasure whenever she feels like it. Leo is a Beta small town boy. Soft spoken. Careful. He does not make friends easily and he is not used to being wanted.

That combination pulls Amy in at first because he reacts to everything. She likes the power. She likes the surprise in his eyes. She likes the feeling that she can play him and take him anywhere she wants. And of course he loves it all.

But to make it last, Amy had to discover that she also enjoys his calm, his quiet loyalty, his steady presence. He is slowly becoming her anchor. And anchors come with the weight of responsibility.
