MILF for Hire: Development Update #3 (Patreon)

Hey loves!

Quick update — v0.2 drops on April 18th.

I'm not giving an exact time because I've been having some small internet issues lately and I'm a little paranoid they might act up that day. But one way or another, it's coming out on the 18th. You have my word.

Testing took a bit longer than I hoped. The game has a lot of branching paths now, and I really want every route to feel right — no matter which choices you make, you should get a story that feels complete and satisfying. I know I can't make everyone happy with every scene, but I've done my absolute best to give every path the attention it deserves.

Music and sound were already decent in v0.1, but honestly we couldn't give them the attention they deserved back then. This time we doubled down. Clyde hooked me up with RWA Studios' composer and we put real time into getting it right. This stuff matters a lot to me — the right track at the right moment can completely change how a scene lands, and I want every emotional beat in this game to actually hit.

Quick stats on v0.2 — around 430 renders (give or take a few as I do final passes) and 2 animation. I really hope you enjoy this one, but I also know it's not perfect. I'm learning, and I promise the next ones will be better. That's just how this works — every update I get a little sharper.

Oh, and I've already started prepping a few things for v0.3. Some of the work I mentioned in the last dev update is already in motion behind the scenes. So we're not stopping after this one drops.

Now... I owe you guys an apology for being a bit quiet the last few days. Let's just say Mother Nature decided to remind me she's in charge 🙃 Damn cramps had me curled up in bed feeling sorry for myself. If anyone has a magic cure for this monthly nightmare, please share — we could buy back a few dev days a month here haha
