MILF for Hire: Development Update #4 (Patreon)

Hey loves!

First off, huge thank you to everyone who played the v0.2 update. We're reading every single piece of feedback you've sent us. Instead of replying one by one and risking missing some of you, we're taking notes on everything and answering them together like this. It honestly saves us a lot of time, which means we can keep working on the game at the same time.

My husband is already working with RWA Studios, and on my end, I also have a regular 9-to-5 job that takes about 8 hours of my day. Whatever free time I have left, I spend on the 3D side of things, like posing and scene setup. I don't want to throw out specific goals or make it sound like I'm doing this just for the money. But to be real with you, once we hit a certain income level, one that, given the cost of living where I am, would actually let me leave my day job, I'd be able to put a lot more time into this project. At that point, instead of an update every 4 months or so, I'd be aiming for one every 2 months. And naturally, the render count would go up too. If we're currently sitting around 200-300 renders per update, that could easily jump to 400-600, basically double, just because I wouldn't be losing 8 hours of my day. The early chapters are a bit easier to put together, but as the content grows, so does the workload. We're aware of that.

Now, onto your questions:

About the BJ scene and the animation: I'll admit I'm still pretty new to animation, so bear with me there. We also got some feedback about Bella seeming emotionless during that scene. I want to clarify something: Bella is doing this because she has to. It's basically a payment to her. Having her pretend to enjoy it would feel completely out of character.

About the honor route: A lot of you have been saying the honor route feels short or like it doesn't fully work. But as we mentioned at the very start of the game, this system works like a scale. You can act with honor and without honor, just like in real life. No matter how good you try to be, you can still slip up and do something bad, and even if you make a choice that feels wrong in the moment, you can still be a good person overall. That's how you should think about Bella's life. That said, some choices might be completely against the character's personality, and that's based entirely on the decisions you've made up to that point. The game splits into many different routes. These routes will merge at certain moments and split apart again later. If you're picking up on that, we couldn't be happier.

About Mike: I know we've answered this in the comments, but some of you might have missed it, so let me bring it up again. Even though you won't be directly controlling Mike, you'll still get to see things from his perspective in scenes where Bella isn't around. But while you're playing as Bella, you won't be making choices for Mike, at least not this season.

About Bella's outfits: We've seen some comments about how revealing Bella's clothes are. Let me clear this up. The reason for that is Harold's behavior hadn't escalated to a real threat level yet, and Bella had so much else on her mind that she wasn't really paying attention to it. A lot of you might not have caught that, but let me say it clearly. After everything that's gone down recently, things have heated up, and you can expect Bella to be much more careful from here on out.

About the start of the game and the "is rent her only problem?" comments: We intentionally didn't include things like electricity bills, water bills, and similar small details at the beginning. While you were still getting to know the character and the story, we didn't want to drag you through that kind of stuff and bore you. Once the game gets closer to completion, we'll go back and fill those gaps with a few additional renders here and there. So no, rent isn't Bella's only problem. We just wanted to keep the narrative clean and focused early on.

About Bella's "intimate" status: In the intimate section of Bella's status screen, you can already see everything we have planned. Just keep in mind that the game is still in beta, so there's always a chance we'll remove some things or add new ones along the way.
