I had no idea there were so many tiny people stranded on the beach! I spotted only a few, but i bet there were a lot more too tiny to see..
One tiny looked very exhausted and hot, so i dropped him onto my ice cream, hoping itd help him cool off and be a sweet treat for him that I bet he rarely gets.. but turns out the ice cream was so good, ngl i forgot about him.. im sure he managed to find a way out of the ice cream and is totally fine..
Also noticed some tinies sneaking into my lunchbox.. which i was fine with, I know they need to eat, I just hope they got finished and left before I started eating!
I was able to keep a few tinies i found while on my trip! What do you guys think i should do with them?
-- now for some stories from the tinies' pov! --
The Sweet Escape
The sand had become an endless desert.
At my size, every grain was a sun-baked boulder, and the gaps between them were steep ravines that took minutes to cross. Heat shimmered above the beach, bending the enormous shapes in the distance—the cliffs, the umbrellas, the people walking beside the ocean.
Especially the people.
Their footsteps rolled through the ground like distant thunder. Most passed without ever knowing I existed. To them, I was smaller than a fleck of sand.
I had spent hours trying to reach the shadow of a striped beach umbrella when the earth suddenly darkened.
A colossal face appeared above me.
She had pale hair tipped bright blue, enormous glasses catching the sunlight, and an expression of startled curiosity. Her shadow covered several dozen yards of my tiny world.
For one impossible moment, her eyes seemed to focus directly on me.
“No way,” her voice boomed. “Another one?”
She could see me.
I jumped, waving both arms. “Yes! Down here!”
The sound never could have reached her, but she watched me move. A gigantic fingertip descended beside me, pressing into the sand and creating a crater. I hesitated only a second before climbing onto it.
The finger rose.
The beach dropped away beneath me until the umbrellas looked like colorful rooftops. Wind tugged at my clothes as she lifted me toward her face.
“Oh, you look exhausted,” she said.
I sank to my knees on the warm surface of her fingertip, too tired even to be frightened.
She glanced around, apparently searching for somewhere safe to put me. Her gaze settled on something in her other hand.
An ice cream cone.
Two mountainous scoops of vanilla towered above a waffle-patterned base. At normal size it would have been a snack. From where I stood, it looked like a frozen planet.
Before I understood her plan, her finger tilted.
“Here. This should cool you down.”
I slid from her fingertip and landed in a soft bank of ice cream.
Cold surrounded me instantly.
I gasped, half shocked and half relieved. After the unbearable heat of the sand, the chill felt wonderful. The surface beneath me was not smooth. It was a landscape of frozen ridges, sparkling crystals, and deep creamy valleys.
Above, the woman smiled.
“There you go. And you can have some, too.”
“Thank you!” I shouted, though my voice was far too small.
I scooped a bit of ice cream into my hands. It was sweeter than anything I could remember tasting. For several minutes, I forgot about the danger of being stranded and simply rested against a ridge while the cold air drifted around me.
Then the entire world moved.
The ice cream rose toward the woman’s face.
Her mouth opened beyond the horizon.
I froze.
“Wait!”
She took a small taste from the opposite side of the scoop. The impact traveled across the ice cream like an earthquake. A distant wall vanished, leaving behind a smooth, curved cliff.
The cone lowered again.
I stood and waved frantically.
“Hey! I’m still here!”
The woman looked out toward the ocean, smiling to herself. She adjusted her glasses with one hand and lifted the cone again.
She had forgotten me.
Another part of the frozen landscape disappeared. Cracks spread through the ridge beneath my feet, and I scrambled upward as a soft avalanche rolled past.
I ran.
Each step sank into the melting surface. The beach heat was already softening the ice cream, turning some valleys into sticky pools. I aimed for the edge of the scoop, hoping I could climb down the cone.
The world tilted sharply.
I lost my footing and slid across the ice cream, catching the edge of a shallow crevice just before being carried farther. Above me, she casually looked along the beach, completely unaware of the disaster happening inches from her eyes.
I pulled myself up and continued.
The edge finally came into view: a sheer drop from vanilla ice cream to the waffle cone below. Melted streams ran down the cliff, filling the square indentations in the cone like golden reservoirs.
I lowered myself into one of the grooves.
Behind me, the scoop rose again.
This time I did not look back.
I climbed downward as quickly as I could, using the waffle pattern like a giant ladder. Each square was deeper than I was tall. The cone shook whenever she moved her hand, but I kept going until I reached the place where her fingers wrapped around it.
There was no safe route past them.
Each finger was an enormous curved barrier, shifting slightly with every movement. I waited until her grip loosened, then jumped from the cone onto the side of her index finger.
She never noticed.
I clung to her skin as she took another taste of ice cream. My heart pounded while I crawled toward the back of her hand, staying low whenever she moved.
Eventually she lowered her arm beside the colorful towel.
This was my chance.
I slid down the side of her hand, dropped onto the fabric, and rolled between two enormous woven threads. A second later, her hand lifted away.
I lay there for a long time, staring up at the blue sky.
I had escaped.
Barely.
From my hiding place, I watched the woman finish the ice cream. She looked perfectly cheerful, with no sign that she remembered placing anyone on it.
“I can’t believe she forgot,” said a voice behind me.
I spun around.
Three other tiny people emerged from between the towel fibers. They carried crumbs wrapped in scraps of paper.
“You saw that?” I asked.
“We see a lot from down here,” one of them replied.
They pointed toward a canvas lunch bag resting beside the towel. Along one of its straps, several more tiny figures were climbing toward the opening.
“They’re going inside?” I asked.
“There’s food in there. Fruit, crackers, sandwiches. Enough to feed us for weeks.”
“What happens when she gets hungry?”
The three of them exchanged uncomfortable looks.
“That’s why you leave before she does.”
Across the towel, the woman suddenly leaned closer to the bag.
Several climbers stopped moving.
Her enormous eyes followed them along the strap.
Instead of knocking them away, she smiled.
“Oh, I see you.”
She opened the bag wider, making it easier for them to enter.
The tiny climbers cheered.
“She’s helping,” someone whispered.
I stared at her, uncertain what to think. She had rescued me from the scorching sand. She had also almost forgotten me inside her dessert.
Maybe giants could be kind and dangerous at the same time without realizing either one.
Later, as the sun began to sink, the woman searched the towel carefully. She discovered several tinies hiding near the edge and gently collected them in an empty container lined with soft cloth.
When she reached my corner, her shadow fell over us.
Her fingertip settled nearby.
“You coming?” one of the others asked.
I looked toward the vast beach. Alone, I might never find water or shelter again.
Then I looked at the woman.
She watched us patiently, apparently determined not to lose track of anyone this time.
I climbed onto her finger.
As she carried us toward the little container, she spoke to herself.
“I wonder what I should do with all of you.”
None of us could answer loudly enough for her to hear.
But after my afternoon on the ice cream, I knew exactly what my first request would be.
A place very far away from her lunch.
Part 2 coming soon! Will be like a tiny beach anthology series!
What other scenarios would you like to see next? Any foods youd like to me to eat you in? Lmk in the comments or message me your requests! I do my best to reply to and create every request and do a bit of roleplay!
