Fun Fact: Earthbenders in the show usually follow the Hung Gar marital art style of fighting but for Toph they got a Mexican Baptist preacher who knew a more obscure style called South Praying Mantis and he helped develop her fight choreography. Legend has it that this style was created many years ago by a blind monk which is why it's a fighting style that can be used even without seeing your opponent. Probebly also why Toph does those jabby movments with her hands and fingers when she earthbends, kinda like a mantis lol.

TBF to Toph she isn't really a spoiled rich kid; her parents don't tell the public she even exists (note the boys who said the Beifongs don't have a daughter) and hide her from the world as well as control her to the point where she is almost quarantined to that mansion. I reckon that while she's a rich girl her circumstances are unique in a way that isn't just prissy brat.
