Mandelbrot (Patreon)

This is a short story that I wrote for the LT3 anthology Villains, Inc., also published in 2016. This was an idea I'd actually had for a long time previous, and the anthology was just an excuse to write it. I also did some clean-up editing on this version. I've been planning on expanding it into a full-length novel, with more sensible worldbuilding (it exists in this story, just...there was no room to address/incorporate it with the limited word count in anything other than extremely simplistic ideas) and backstories and such. Anyone who's vaguely familiar with my writing knows I like to write about fake!SFF!politics, which this mostly is with "superheroes".

I'm also aware that this is maybe vaguely similar to The Boys in concept? I haven't watched/read anything related so any similarities are coincidental.
