Okay,  well, lost a ton of Patrons suddenly and no longer am technically at the milestone goal. Kind of a bummer, but I will still write the extra story  (for May, not this month). I feel like I'm disappointing people again so I am going to resolve to NEVER say I'll post two chapters a month even if it seems possible, because then I won't be getting people's hopes up. If I do ever finish a second chapter or story, it'll just be a sudden surprise. Sorry,  again,  for whatever it is I'm doing or not doing that is disappointing.

Oh no, sorry to hear that. If they left because they were dissapointed then they were just being unreasonable to not consider life circumstances getting in the way. I'm still quite content with your progress, especially now that you are focusing on Chiaroscuro, just keep doing what you're doing and don't worry so much about pleasing others.

It's not so much the money amount I care about, it's that people again dropped out right at the end of the mnth (so they avoided paying and it's just so unfair to everyone else) and I always feel like I've failed to do something that makes people do this. This is why I'm trying to post more regularly here (instead of tumblr) so that I seem more involved and not like silence....silence....silence...CHAPTER....silence...silence. I hate to overwhelm/annoy people with posts though

I wish more people would fill out the exit surveys so I would know if it was financial reasons (totally understandable!) or if it's legitimately ME not doing the things people expect. Since there is money involved, I do want to focus on the things that people want to see (since I want to do all of the things anyway, it's just a matter of what I focus on hardest/first) so I do worry about pleasing people, haaha.

I understand that, but some people you just can't please and sometimes life gets in the way. But you did deliver a chapter and extras last month like you always plan to do, so you don't need to feel like it was your fault they left.

Hey, don't blame yourself! Those patrons were just dinguses (dingusi?) who can't appreciate true genius. I actually pity them 'cause they won't get to experience all the other amazing things that are sure to follow!
