This failure of a month (Patreon)

So I wish I could just do a whole "don't charge anyone at all for this month" option on Patreon, but I don't think I can.  However I can refund payments. So,  if I post NOTHING this month, everyone can get a refund of their pledge if they wish, once it's been processed. I'm still trying to get the Obscura chapter out,  but /if/ I don't, I'd find it completely fair if you want a "refund" for this month. You can message me privately here or email me at alyndrasil@gmail.com  (just make sure I know what your Patreon name/email is) about it, if this does end up happening. Which it may. And I'm very sorry about it.

Don't stress yourself! I can only speak for myself, but I know that patreon isn't about paying per creation. I'm happy to read anything you post, but I'm happy to support you anyway, even if you can't post as often as you'd like. (And anyway, I can barely manage an 8000 word term paper in two months when I have literally nothing else to do, so I'm really amazed at how much you're doing when you have so much else going on, too)

I'm sorry it's been going badly. But I haven't been supporting to necessarily get something every month—I firmly believe in your talent and your message as a writer. Well, I wish I had something to follow that up with but since I'm not great with words I'll just say hope it goes better next month :)

Thank you for that. I still feel bad though, since it is a monthly charge. And I promised this chapter last month. It's been a REALLY BAD month and week+ though, just everything that can go wrong is, and I'm just so drained. Any time money gets involved, I feel terrible, and immediately assume I;m not doing enough or good enough things.

Thank you. That's why I kept it at a monthly donation, but I still feel terrible if nothing comes out in a month! I've already done that once before and felt terrible about it. I do do a lot of things, but I don't know, I don't feel like that's much of an excuse somehow. But thank you.

I agree with the others. It's not the content itself - though the content is AMAZING - it's about you as a creator and helping you to make the awesome things that you (and all of your fans!) love. Don't despair! Stay strong! We'll be here for you :)

Thank you very much! I really hope to have a chapter tomorrow or Sunday, but I have no idea if it'll happen. I'm glad that people are sticking around though this failure of a month tho, since it is very depressing to me haha.
