some end of year updates! (Patreon)

Hello! What another awful year! At least it's nearly over and we can hold some mild hope for 2022 (but not too much, honestly, don't pressure it).

Anyway, like always, my Patreon is paused But I am actually working on things! Or, one thing, mostly. I'm trying to build a backlog of chapters for it so that I can post with regularity and not overwork and overexert myself, like I've always done in the past. And I will be posting it here! But it will be free! But it will be locked to Patrons originally. But for free. I may, possibly, MIGHT unhiatus the Patreon at some point, but make it so the story would be free to anyone (Patrons and non) to read up to a certain point, and then you'd have to be an active Patron after that to continue reading. But I will give HUGE advance notice if that happens so that no one is surprise-charged by a Patreon that's been on hiatus since 2017.

This is mostly because I'm going back to school (yay?) and will only be able to have a part-time job which will not-quite cover all of my expenses and it would be nice to just have enough to cover another bill or two. Also I have no idea if anyone will care about this story so I don't want to just sudden MAKE PEOPLE PAY for a thing they might not be interested in. It is L&S related, tangentially (and I know L&S is a HUGE MESS and honestly one of my very-soon plans is to get back to fixing it because it's been actual years since it was coherently readable, so....) so there is that.

These are all nebulous plans without set times of when any of it will happen, mostly because going to school also involves moving out of the US, which I'm currently in the middle of doing. So probably nothing at all this month. Maybe something January. So stay tuned, I suppose...
