This made my day I've been waiting for Simon and Holm! It felt so much shorter than the others but probably because it was my favourite. such a tease! and so many questions and thoughts ; I love that it skipped quite a lot of time, its one of my favourite things with your stories, that the relationships do actually progress so we know they move past the honeymoon stage, though I dont know if holm/simon ever had that really. I love Simon but the man needs a shake if he still leaves holm affection-deprives after all these years. Holm a total cutie and you can tell he's probably quite naturally affectionate and always reigning it in. Will Simon ever say 'i love you' or really have moments where he shows his affection again? I kinda want to see a scenario where Holm takes ill and his reaction because Im evil. The little mention of the good loving! - clearly things have improved! Totally didnt feel the old story needed rewrites, but its exciting all the same. ooh and was Teresa his mum? So hes trying to rekindle his relationships. urgh this update was so exciting and frustrating because I want to just devour all the writing on these two. so good! :)

Glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, Holm and Simon never really had a honeymoon phase. They probably have the most dysfunctional and unhealthy relationship out of all my characters, which is not common for me to write. Simon has some excuses, but not many, and Holm is apparently kind of sucker for damaged people. Simon doesn’t say I love you to Holm, but not a lot of my characters do! Keyd and Alan don’t either, but they’ve got a way more affectionate relationship in the first place. This story is actually a lot about their relationship hitting a pretty big changing point; Holm is fully prepared to break up with Simon near the start of the story on until an Event happens, which I won’t spoil, but it gives Simon an opportunity to change and Holm gives him the chance (this section shared here is from a fairly later part in the story). And Theresa isn’t Simon’s mom, she’s part of the Event too, so I can’t spoil her either. :) The story isn’t getting completely rewritten, but it’s getting cleaned up and polished and fixed. Especially rewinding the time period it takes place in. I wrote it when I was really young and just want to update it to my current standards :)

ooh this story sounds SO good. now I'll be coming up with scenarios in my head of what happens haha. This story as a whole fascinates me, I have so many questions about Simon, the werewolves in this world etc

There's actually a lot about how werewolves work in this story! Since Simon is very isolated nor a lot has come up yet, but it's a big part of this one :)
