December 25

Last one! Happy holidays everybody, and hope you enjoyed this deluge of semi out-of-context story chunks! There's going to be a poll in few days where you can let me know which ones sound the most interesting so I can get a few of them posted next year!

I didn't want the snippets to end.. nor did I want the story to stop right there. The religious aspect included in this snippet, in addition to mentions of Rysa and Ociir's other family members, were a tease. It still amazes me how detailed your world building it. I am glad that we at least know how things turn out for Ineah as she is reborn as Rysa. It's sad that entity manifestation is 'wrong' if it's not the same as everyone elses.. Were there any oenclar that manifested as clarbach in this world's history?

I'm glad you enjoyed it! There's a lot of the clarbach worldbuilding that's never been really seen, just because Alan only spends a minimal amount of time with them as opposed to the oenclar. Rysa's story will have a lot of both, and they are pretty different cultures, as already seen with religion being really common and normal (even if Ineah/Rysa admits her faith is pretty lackadaisical) There are people in both societies who manifest the 'wrong' entities; it's actually fairly common. These people are pretty much eliminated as quickly as possible from public knowledge or record - Rysa's story deals a lot with it, not only in regards to her but just the social attitudes about it in both cultures. Each race has their own ways of never admitting it happens, but it occurs because the entities are trying to restore a natural balance which is completely messed up since the races have been living completely separated, and aren't supposed to be doing that.

I love seeing things from the clarbach point of view! I'm very interested in them and their culture/society since we don't get to see them as much during Alan and even Keyd's point if view. I can't wait to read more of Rysa 's story in the new year!

I'm glad you liked it! There's definitely a bigger view into clarbach society in Rysa's story, because they definitely aren't seen as much in either Alan's or Keyd's. I'm not sure of how much of Rysa's story will be ready for public posting this year, but hopefully a chapter or two!
