Hey guys!

It's time (FINALLY) for the MOST HATED Pirates of the Caribbean movie out there... according to ratings.

I actually didn't mind this one at all! Dare I say I enjoyed it... I understand this was the first movie that didn't have the original cast, so I understand the frustration, but I really did like it!

Let me know what you all think down below! :)

You all are awesome; stay that way!

Love,

Alex

I think people had a problem with the continuation after the first 3 Because they forgot who the main character actually was... Jack Sparrow, whose story wasn't completed in the trilogy. They just fell in love with the side pieces : Will and Elizabeth, and have massive emotional attachment disorders, making them hold on to a side quest instead of completing the mission.

I'm not sure if you are aware, but the wigs are supposed to look awful. Because they're not props for the movie, we're watching. They are wigs worn by people of status. They signified a rank so to speak throughout history. So, it's not a slight in the movie at all. Also, they were used to hide syphilis sores and scars.

I actually really like this movie

why didnt blackbeard just stab the inside of the mermaids nose to force a tear? seems like a lotta unnecessary work

Funny enough, in the first movie, Jack Wasn't originally meant to be the main character. Will was. Things changed obviously.

I also don't get why people don't like this one!! The one point I will cede to the critics is that it was obviously a "cash grab" and tried to milk something out of the good reputation of an existing series rather than inventing something new. That said, I think it was still well made! There was funny banter, a decent story, and good action scenes. We got to go on a fun little adventure with some of your beloved characters and got some decent new ones added in the mix. And the most important point: This movie did not really change anything about the existing trilogy. It did not muddle Will's and Elisabeth's great story. It did not alter our characters beyond recognition, contradict the previous movies, or try to retcon stuff. So even if one isn't in love with the story, there is no reason to hate on it, since the 4th film can nicely exist along the trilogy and the canon without really impacting it at all! Now the 5th one is a whole other beast! That one changes all kinds of things, contradicts some stuff, and then adds a nice dose of mediocre retcon in the mix. So I'm all along for saying that it was a badly done cash grab and we'd have been better off without it.
