omg Alex you have to watch this in the future, especially after seeing you talk about animals in show biz in this reaction!! so there's a video on YouTube called "Lord of the Horses" or "Home of the Horse Lords" or something, and its almost TWO HOURS of BTS (behind the scenes) footage of JUST the horse-related stuff in LOTR. its literally just all about the horses day-today stuff and they go into each specific one, all had deep relationships with their specific actors (many of which purchased and took them home after the movie), showing how the scenes were done and how some horses were prima donnas and some were consummate pro's lol its hilarious, legit better than some (most? lol) movies; its SO fucking wholesome and so cute and adorable, and also so badass and just dope as hell, and there are so many amazing heart warming stories throughout. Ton of funny stories and situations as well. (PS they were there for years which is why they got so close!! the actors almost all flew over and lived there in NZ and shot all 3 movies at once). not to try and hype up LOTR more lol, but literally the BTS of just the FREAKING HORSES is better than a lot of stuff out there lmao, let alone the full BTS, let alone the movie itself haha. idk if here are spoilers in it but id recommend watching it after whenever LOTR happens. its such a great video and he horses were literally treated better than most actors, all happy and healthy and having fun and literally running the show lol it was amazing. 11/10 recommend

I know someone who does, and they told me about how they treat extras (background extras or whatnot) and is fucking hysterical lmao. its bat shit insane but I mean you cant help but laugh lol they literally treat them like trash, as if they're not human beings, and act like their this lesser race and just such an inconvenience and like "ugh" what is this THING?! bro they legit give the extra's a bunch of WonderBread and peanut butter for the day and a bunch of little kids tables, meanwhile everyone else gets catering and gourmet finger food and shit lol its unreal. The shot was important because the money would keep the ranch open. OJ had been selling horses to stay afloat. The insane amount of money, that actual undeniable PROOF of aliens would generate, would keep the ranch open. They aren't planning on how to kill it, because of course they aren't. They know nothing about it, so how could they possibly try to take it out? Their plan was just to get the proof and sell it, before someone else did. Of course it turned into just surviving. And no, OJ didn't die.

During the scene with Jupe while he was doing the show I think that the ship ate them because of the horse that em stole and set up & with it eating it and with jupe saying he’s been in contact with for 6 months I kinda felt like it thought it was betrayed so it took revenge by swallowing up everyone… hence why you can still hear the screams because they were still being devoured/consumed or however it operates

Quick fun fact: The screams from the people that get abducted by the Alien goes on for several hours as they are squished and digested. In order to make the screams more eerie and terrifying, Jordan Peele had his sound team record two different vocal tracts from Voice Actors. One set was the VAs screaming like they’re having fun, like on a roller coaster. The second was them screaming in terror. Blending those two together is what makes the screams of the people as it flys by so terrifying.

I'm not sure if there was no plan to take care of it. When Emerald releases the Jupe inflatable she says "This is gonna fuck you up" so she obviously did it to harm it or at the very least scare it away after it swallowed it. Its unclear though whether they had always planned to do this or if Em came up with it on the fly. But, the way she bee lined it to the ebike then directly to the inflatable makes me feel like it was premeditated at least a little bit
