After finishing his morning training, he ate lunch while lost in thought.More power. I want greater, more reliable strength.

With that desire lingering in his mind, he prepared to begin afternoon practice.That was when he noticed it—a magnificent bow, unfamiliar to him, resting silently at his feet.

“…What is this? I’ve never seen a bow like this.”

The moment he cautiously touched it, the bow emitted a pale blue glow and seemed to draw itself into his hands.Pushed forward by a strange sense of exhilaration, he began practicing with it.

とある男性は、弓の練習に没頭している。技量は群を抜いており、他のメンバーと比べても頭一つ抜けた存在だった。

午前の稽古を終え、昼食をとりながら彼は考える。

――もっと威力を。もっと、確かな力が欲しい。

そんな思いを胸に、午後の練習を始めようとしたときだった。

足元に、見覚えのない立派な弓が静かに置かれている。

「……これは？ 見たことのない弓だな」

恐る恐る触れた瞬間、弓は淡い青色の光を放ち、吸い込まれるように彼の手に収まった。

不思議な高揚感に背中を押されるように、彼はその弓で練習を始める。

弦を引いた刹那、これまでに見たことのない青い光が弾け、放たれた矢は凄まじい威力で的を貫いた。

「……すごい。これなら、もっと強くなれる」

だが、その代償はすでに始まっていた。

髪の色はいつの間にか淡い水色に変わり、頭には小さな角が生えている。本人は気づかぬまま、弓を引き続ける。すると身体に熱がこもり、胸元がゆっくりと、しかし確かに膨らみ始めた。

違和感に視線を落としたときには、体の輪郭はすでに女性的なものへと変わっていた。気づいた瞬間、鏡に映ったのは――原神の甘雨の姿。

身に余るほどの強大な力と、ほてりの残る身体を抱えながら、彼女は静かに、新たな道へと歩み出すのだった。
