NCRF Ranger Cloth Coat - preview (Patreon)

so ... this wasn't in the poll. It was also not pre-planned like those remaining accessories, but rather a bit of an impromptu thing. From the start, for this redesign, I wanted a slim female version redesign of the original armor set and I knew I wouldn't be doing the coat. That being said the coat does add to the original design, so it did feel some maybe something was missing.

I decided that I won't be doing texture variations for this armor set, there's just too many texture sets and the texture files are too heavy to add to. Instead, I felt I should compensate with another piece, which ended up being this cloth coat. It reminds of the original, even if just a bit, it fits with the cloth hood/shawl thingy well, and it looks pretty cool overall.

there are some caveats here. As mentioned, this coat was not planned for, back when I made my blockout and design of the armor set, so it doesn't play well with the rest of the armor, functionally speaking. Specifically the air tank backpack and the hoses that connect to the helmet. As such, as is visible in the renders above, this coat is not meant to be used with those items and it has it's own separate equip variation for the armor. That being said, if you don't mind a bit of clipping, there's also a standalone version that can be equipped on a separate slot that will work with the existing armor items that have the backpack. I've left a standalone version, mostly to use with the underarmor equip style, but you can "cheat" against my wishes and use it with the air tanks too :)

I've also had to do some tweaks to some existing items like the hood to get them to play nicer with the coat.

as you can tell by my choice of words, this has been imported ingame alongside with other tweaks as of now, so other than packaging the files and taking some ingame screenshots, this is good to go and I can consider the poll and this Ranger armor complete ... finally. There will be a new poll in the next few days to replace the now completed one.
