The King of Summer - v 0.4.22-early now out for Dandy Patrons! (And above) (Patreon)

Arato's route has a few endings of its own. Time to check them out!

Oooh Arato. You make me want to use every classic NTR trick. Last week it was the "doing your girl while you sleep on the same bed" trope, and now it's all about those NTR proof videos! So yeah, Arato Ending 2 has Satoshi having to endure watching taped evidence of how Mary succumbs to the rich bastard's charms. It's a neat little gimmick that's been fun to implement, though in this release you'll only get to see one scene with it.

I wanted to add one or two more... but sadly, life got in the way. Or rather, a huge storm got in the way that took down the local electrical systems for 4 days straight. It's a wonder I actually managed to be ONLY 1 day late in releasing this! So I apologize if there's not as much content as you'd want. But there's still plenty to enjoy.

Now, it might be a bit tricky to see these endings, as catching up to the current story actually locks you out of watching them! So here's a little guide.

For Arato Ending 1:

Start game and select "Jump to chapter 3 (after route selection)".

Progress past the first Arato Route sex scene.

Go to Satoshi's room and select choice to leave the resort.

For Arato Ending 2:

Start game and select "Jump to chapter 3 (after route selection)".

Progress until after the beginning of the bottle game (it might take a few minutes of skipping).

Go to Satoshi's room and select choice to leave the resort.

Arato Ending 1 is definitely the one with the meatier character moments, with it being the culmination of Satoshi being unable to forget about watching Mary and Arato go at it during the swinging event. I've been meaning to write it for a while and now I finally got the change.

Kendo is going to remain out of the picture for 1 or 2 more weeks, but rest assured he'll be back.

What else... oh yeah! I've been working on the early game, particularly certain lines of dialogue to make Mary seem less willing to get entangled in Kendo's NTR shenanigans, as well as less... well, dumb. She's a bit of an airhead at the beginning compared to later, and I want to start working on making her character more consistent.

The mysterious person that teaches Kendo the secrets of his manly power is now a mysterious hooded girl. I won't give her a big role or anything, but it did bother me that this character didn't have an appearance. Though there might be a little more to her than meets the eye...

Finally, I've been working on a little Corruption system, in which the game will keep track of each girl's corruption through a handy meter, visible through a dedicated menu. It's still a work in progress, but expect to see a working version in the next update.

Phew, that was a lot! Please enjoy and have a good week!
