Dragon cafe (wip) 🐉☕ (Patreon)

Hello my lovely Patrons,

I’m really sorry for disappearing for a bit without any updates! This past week has been a bit hectic with packing shop orders, but I'm really excited to let you know that everything is on its way to you now! I’ve also started preparing for the next convention I'll be attending—Vienna Comic Con! Let me know if maybe you’ll be there; I’d love to say hi!

After getting all the orders packed up, I felt like I needed a few days to recharge. But, of course, life had other plans! I ended up with a bit of food poisoning, and on top of that, I overstrained my hand, which meant I couldn’t draw for a while and had to wait for it to heal. Thankfully, I'm feeling a bit better now, so I thought I’d share a new illustration I’ve been working on!

I actually started this piece almost a month ago—it’s a bit challenging, so it’s taken me some time. I’m hoping to finish it before I head off to Vienna tho! The illustration was actually inspired by The Bakery Dragon by Devin, which my boyfriend gifted me for my birthday. It’s such a lovely, heartwarming story, of course painted beautifully and it made me want to paint dragons! I’m not very familiar with painting them (which might be why this piece is such a challenge!), but I hope you enjoy this concept. Let me know your thoughts—I always love reading your comments! 🥰

With love,

Toshia
