Development update - February 2026 (Patreon)

Hi folks!

We're diving into the new month with a lot of work ahead. February is shorter than other months, and on top of that, I'll be heading to NFC in Malmö in the middle of it and taking a few vacation days. To make up for the lost time, I'm focusing intensely on the new scenes for v0.55. First, I'm working on a few route-specific scenes that follow the meetings from the previous update. Once those are done, I'll tackle a larger scene that applies to all* routes afterward.

Regarding Broken Harbours: Ghost has estimated that the illustration concluding the VN should be ready in late March/early April. Meanwhile, the artist I was in talks with about the visual side of Broken Harbours has been silent lately, I'm trying to work on it with another artist I know and hopefully something will come out of that. I'd love to release it for public finally, but I don't want it to have the default RenPy UI. If I'm asking money for it, I want it to look polished and professional.

One more of the illustrations by Yvonn made it to the first kiss scene with Lake, it'll be included for our patrons in a build with fixes that I plan to release this week. Someone found a significant bug on Lake's route that demands an immediate fix.
