Week 26, 2026 - devlog (Patreon)

Hi folks!

Good news - the Rune + Mikko update (v0.57) is coming this week!

Writing for both parts of the update is 95% done - I'm in the final stretch now, testing, polishing and adding some last lines. The extra time I took paid off - right now, the total new word count is a bit above 15k, making it one of the biggest updates yet, and additional time for testing for the preview update for Rune gave me time to do rewrites and rearrange scenes to flow better compared to the original plan.

This update comes with new illustrations from Deffie and Haku - the Rune snuggle from an earlier scene, and another sweet one for Rune that should make for a nice wallpaper - I'll share this one as a sneak peek later today. I'm also about to sit down to try to record some new music - it's been a struggle lately, but there's still a lot of time before the week ends for some trial and error.

One more thing I'm excited about - I came back from the trip with a batch of photos I want to use for prototyping Lake's side story. It's a small step, but still a step ahead, bringing the project closer to fruition.
