New illustrations artist joins the team! (Patreon)

I'm excited beyond words to announce that starting with Day 2 the artist drawing illustrations for us is none other than @Bakemonoy! 

The illustration for the upcoming build featuring our favourite stag, Rune, is already finished, so I can share it with you now (this time publicly, together with the announcement)! Some alt versions you might enjoy can be found on Bakemonoy's twitter account 👀

Damn, I really like this artwork. I kinda wish Rune's face was a bit more like his sprite, but overall I think this is great

Bakemonoy is super talanted and this looks really good, the fur looks awesome! Personally I prefer it if illustrations keep the characters general visual impression similar tho. Like using the same color scale etc. I totally respect each artists creative integrity, buy the integrity if the novel matters too, its not a one man show after all. I also wish that the characters look atleast similar to their sprite.

This is definitely a valid concern, and I will pay special attention to it. In case of this illustration, I think that this is the most true to my vision rendition of him, so I'm incredibly happy! There's an obvious difference in style between hq and Bakemonoy, but both me and hq approved the sketch, and it was done according to the refs and renders provided, so in this case I feel it matches the scene quite well. We will definitely make sure that each next illustration will fit the vn at least as good as this one.
