Hi all, Keo here! While I'm working on the next Day 3 build, I thought I could share a significant update to the Day 1 part of the game that I worked on this month. The reworks are substantial and the changes significant, pretty much the entire Day 1 was altered, so I'd say it's definitely worth checking out! For the same reasons, saves might not work in this update, but I suggest starting the game from the beginning to see the reworked intro anyway.Download link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1xuZh3cvgHodHgISGgtEDbU39t8irf9oR?usp=share_link

Enjoy!

Nice work! I feel like it's a net improvement on the previous versions, much more streamlined. The removal of the Save button also makes it more realistic - there's nothing to be saved in real life, so why should we ba able to save ourselves in our games? That's a nice little bit of added commentary about the fleeting nature of human experiences. You've also done a lot of good work centering on the central conflict of the game: the key! Arvo losing the key is the single most important point and the rest is just fluff and such. You've done a good job centering on that point.

I must say that the re-writing is astonishingly wholesome. The game has reached another level of emotional impact that I have never met in any other form of medias. Really, congratulations. Arvo is a fully fleshed out character since the first lines now, and the idea to talk so sweetly about the fleeting moments of one's life in such brilliant and deep terms and metaphor was a perfect way to introduce the reader to the future routes. The rework of day 1 is the perfect introduction to the deep meanings of each character! Awesome, trully!
