Teaching a psychology lecture on the basis of memory and identity, a professor finds himself randomly and unexpectedly beginning to transform into a Beagle. Rather than panic, however, he decides to use the last moments of his humanity as a teaching moment, describing his changing cognition and memories before falling fully into the more simplistic memories and patterns of the dog he is becoming.
