Lousy foal (Patreon)

Some sketches on Russian fairy tales. From the fairy tale about Marya Morevna the steppe warrior queen. https://wikitranslate.org/wiki/Marya_Morevna

This character is the heroic horse of Ivan Tsarevich. Ivan could defeat Koshchei the Immortal only if his horse was better and more cunning than that of Koshchei. Only Baba Yaga had the best horses in her herd of wild mares near the river of fire. Ivan had to pass the test and be a shepherd of mares. Baba Yaga had many beautiful foals and one ugly Lousy foal. Ivan passed the test, but Baba Yaga deceived him and Ivan was forced to steal the foal. There are 3 classic colors of heroic horses.1. Red.2.The black with a golden mane.3. White with a golden mane (or a golden horse with a white mane).P.S. It's funny that in real life, big and strong horses are sometimes born crooked and ugly ahead of time because they were cramped in the womb.
