A 37-year-old Fresno, CA man is mistakenly set free by a confused jury during his 2014 burglary trial. After inadvertently presenting the judge with a not guilty verdict form, the court set into motion a series of events that would ultimately lead to the career criminal’s release that very evening. Within just one hour of receiving his newfound freedom - police were called to his mother’s home for a report of a dead body in the street.

That is terrifying. 12 of your peers... In this case he got lucky but imagine jurors who are unsure and so they just decide on guilty better safe than sorry!?! That is so problematic. Truly shocking.
