Krystal Jaye Mitchell was a 30-year-old single mother looking for a fresh start for her and two children. The family of 3 packed up and moved to Phoenix, AZ from Vancouver, WA where Krystal would begin a new career in property management. One day in the Spring of 2016, a muscular former Marine by the name of Raymond McLeod walked into her office looking to rent an apartment. Before long Krystal and Raymond would begin dating…until one day she stopped answering her phone during a couple’s trip to San Diego, CA. Her mother Josephine knew something was wrong immediately. What she didn’t know was that her daughter’s boyfriend had already fled the country. On June 10th, 2016 - a crime so heinous occurred that it eventually became one of the largest manhunts in U.S. history…leading a victim’s mother to appoint herself as the unofficial lead detective…
