On Saturday, May 13, 2023, 29-year-old Patrice Latoya Wilson was getting ready to head home after an overnight shift at DMC Receiving Hospital in Detroit, MI. The nurse and single mother was looking forward to spending time with her 7-year-old son on Mother’s Day the following day. What Patrice didn’t know, however, was that a man wearing sunglasses and a blonde wig was loitering outside her work…and before she could get in her Lincoln SUV, the man later identified as her violent ex-boyfriend, Jamere Miller, ran up behind her at gunpoint, forced her inside, and drove away…
